Pros: Simple. It does what it is supposed to do. Nice clean lines on the design.

Cons: End pieces are plastic. There isn't an on/off switch. USB 2.0 takes up two USB slots. I have a laptop, so my two USB ports leave me without USB options for other devices. Like my keyboard or iphone.

Overall Review: I only put a 128 GB drive in it. My old laptop drive that was sitting around.

Pros: Kept the computer cool. Nice aluminium plate. The legs worked great at lifting the plate. Cool design. Fits a 15" Macbook Pro just fine.

Cons: The fans were too noisy. I had to send it back. It ended up being the loudest thing in my room. Since I was doing audio recording and I was hearing the fans through my mic, it just wasn't going to work. I returned it and needed to purchase something else. The rubber slip-on legs only leave you with basically one height, even though you could shift the legs a bit, it didn't make that much difference. It might give you a little more height, but I couldn't lower it . I doubt the decibel rating is accurate. It is closer to 30-40 db.
