Great mobo

GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD4 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD4 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: I've used gigabyte for quite some time now and have never been dissapointed. @bios makes updating super easy. touchbios is awesome and makes for easy overclocking! some have mentioned bootlooping, i have not experienced this but shouldn't be a problem once you've update the bios.

Cons: As others may have mentioned, the dimm slots are VERY close to the cpu, so be mindful of what kind of heatsink you are going to use. Im using a zalman9700 with 2 sticks of g.skill sniper series RAM in slots 1&2 (they are on the right of each dimm pair..a little weird from my last gigabyte mobo) and my heatsink BARELY fits in

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 670 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card GV-N670OC-2GD
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 670 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card GV-N670OC-2GD

Pros: It' been over 6 months since I got the new card (Newegg customer support is AWESOME! Real stand up folks to put up with me. Thanks guys!). It had the very same issue (random, fluctuating black screen) only much less severe. The last time I experienced the issue was about 2 months ago (knock on wood). The card this far has performed wonderfully. It plays all the latest games beautifully and with ease. The card is VERY quiet and I have NEVER seen go above 63C with fans at 44% (the room gets 90F+ these summer days).

Cons: Gigabyte tech support. Don't let ANY of their responses to these comments fool you. Their tech support (which I have never contacted any tech support as long as I have been building my own computers) is a joke and it is something that the company should feel ashamed of. As I stated in previous my comment, I have used many Gigabyte products for years without ANY issues. But finally, the day came and they were useless. They had no insight to fix my issue other than to return the product. They asked if I had tried a different cable, I had. A DVI or VGA instead of an HDMI, I had. If I had tried on a different monitor, I had. If I had the latest drivers, I had. If I had downloaded their BIOS tool to see if I had their latest BIOS, I had. And the rest of the usual questions only to then say 'return it to where you purchased the card, or send it to us to fix it.' If you are tech savvy, even remotely, or can search the web and read forums - you are better off doing so than contacting Gigabyte tech support. The nice folks at UPS were more helpful. I had a lot of faith in Gigabyte and their products for many years; I will NEVER buy Gigabyte again as the people they hire to fix issues, only tell you the same thing any forums will. Their lack of more than basic tech knowledge was very disappointing. For that, I give 2 Eggs... and recommend EVGA or MSI.

Overall Review: Even Gigabyte's OC Guru is terrible - MSI Afterbuner FTW.

Great Buy!

XFX Radeon HD 5830 1GB DDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card HD-583X-ZAFV
XFX Radeon HD 5830 1GB DDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card HD-583X-ZAFV

Pros: I am super late writing a review on this card but only feel I should because it was an awesome card while I had it. In the over two years I was using it, using it VERY heavily I might add, it never failed or fussed with me. Played all the games I wanted it to. It will not play the newest games (battlefield 3, medal of honor warfigher) at highest settings very well at all. BF3 on ultra averaged about 28fps, but was great on low settings.

Cons: Card runs a little hot even for cards back then, but with manual fan control its not an issue. I also bought the card for 259.99, and literally a week later its reduces in price to 189.99. Not the first time newegg had done this to me, and definatly wasn't the last - really hate it when newegg does this.

Logitech G500 10 Buttons Dual-mode Scroll Wheel USB Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
Logitech G500 10 Buttons Dual-mode Scroll Wheel USB Wired Laser Gaming Mouse

Pros: The weight cartridge makes the mouse very smooth to maneuver. On the fly dpi change is great for when im flyin around in bf3 (love the fact you can set custom dpi settings). Even after over a year of heavy use the buttons have yet to show any sign of wear or age. Design makes it very comfortable(and I got big hands). Dual mode scroll is pretty cool, makes scrolling down a long page quick and painless. Programmable buttons are a sure +. For those who need a new mouse or have an optical...get rid of it and get this mouse! You will not regret it!

Cons: Its a bit pricey but considering the quality, and the prices of comparable mice - its worth it.

Overall Review: I've had this mouse for over a year now and am as happy with it now as I was when I first got it. I was always reluctant to spend this much on a mouse and suffer from buyers remorse - not the case here. Best mouse I've ever had!

G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR
G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR

Pros: Is exactly as advertised. Excellent performance/price (i got em round thanksgiving for the sales so i got em for $45 but would not feel bad paying 60) & good heat spreaders keep the sticks nice and cool. Upgraded to these with an i7-2600k and z68-gigabyte-ud4. no buyers remorse here and recommend these to anyone looking for just a little more push than 1600.

Cons: You do have to overclock from 1600 to get the 1866, and change the timings around but thats a mobo thing so cant really dock em for that - but they will be stable.

Overall Review: the jet black heat spreaders go great with my jet black mobo and zalman 9700 heatsink

is what it says it is

Pros: its cheap and it works

Cons: none - but see other thoughts.

Overall Review: as other may have noted, it does not say it can be used for a 1155 socket...but it can. used it so i could put my 9700 on my intel 2600k
