Pros: - OK, the price was fantastic being a refurb, and 1060's just hitting market
- Surprised it was dead quiet even with light gaming (no OC) (Titanfall)
- Case remained cool, 45C highest so far!
- Quality components, love the included backplate!
Cons: - It was green, but who cares, actually looks good when installed...
Other Thoughts: More than enough GPU for the occasional gamer.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Keeping this monitor, best performer I've tried. The extra real estate and slight curve is perfect for general computing, and terrific for gaming (I'm better orientated). This is much better than the Samsung VA curved panels, takes only 49 watts, speakers are waaay superior - clear with even a nice base response. Better than any 4-5k panels currently out there I've tried. I did not wait for G-sync version even though I have Titan (hydro), with my limited gaming I've had no issues what-so-ever with everything maxed out maintaining mostly 60+ FPS, and using 10 bit color and 75 hz,
Cons: A flat screen is probably better for graphic work and detailed text. I originally had issues till I spent much time calibrating contrast/gamma/brightness, etc, as adjustments were not good out-of-the-box on monitor. The monitor's menu buttons are not the greatest, but once set up, no need to mess with. Fine tune with Nvidia panel.
Other Thoughts: I kind of like the blue LEDs on bottom, brightens up a dark spot.! Why doesn't this monitor come up when selecting curved monitors on the Newegg menu tree? Probably would of bought it from Newegg if it did!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Sturdy side panels, everything fits nicely for this price range. I very much like the SSD bays! It will take the biggest CPU air coolers. Doesn't look or feel cheap. Handles are sturdy and functional as well as feet slide on carpet.
Cons: A little tight for a modular PSU to accommodate their plugs, but I did it (would be much nicer to have a PSU back-plate and slide PSU in from the back). 200mm front fan moves VERY LITTLE air being caged by metal hex on inside, and hex and filter on front. I used nippers and removed the inside hex and other metal restricting air flow, and now actually blows air in, and very quiet!!! 120mm fan on back is noisy, replaced with quieter 140mm.
Other Thoughts: Put a 12" blue LED light tube on top window side, pointing horizontal inward. Nice soft effect!READ FULL REVIEW
