Pros: The kit is extremely nice for upgrading a laptop. I had a 100GB, 5400RPM, SATA II hard drive in my 5 year old Fujitsu laptop, and it was starting to run fairly slow on simple tasks. I cloned all of my data in about an hour using the boot software CD they provided. The software is extremely user friendly and any average user can figure it out. After cloning my hard drive, I replaced it. My computer booted up instantly but required one restart for new hardware. I opened up the one program that seems to always take 5 minutes to load on Windows: iTunes. It loaded as quickly as Google Chrome. I've only had this for a couple of days, and assuming it lasts longer than regular hard drives, I'll probably have this computer for another 5 years, while using the old drive as a spare external. I highly recommend this kit for anyone looking to upgrade an older computer or laptop.

Cons: I could see the screwdriver needing a hex key instead of just two phillips heads a a flat head. It worked fine for my laptop but I know some other computers/devices require a hex key.

Pros: Feels sturdy when the hard drive is in the case.

Cons: It crashed two of my hard drives before junking itself out. Buy something better if you feel your data is worth anything.
