NZXT - Killer Custom Cases

NZXT Phantom PHAN-001WT White Steel / Plastic Enthusiast ATX Full Tower Computer Case
NZXT Phantom PHAN-001WT White Steel / Plastic Enthusiast ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: -TONS of Space -A TON of breathing room -Plenty of Hard Drive Bays, as well as expansion. -PRETTY, VERY PRETTY -Virtually Quiet. There is a small hum from the fans and CPU fan (AMD Zambezi 8), but from the view of an Audio engineer, this hum practically is not there, so nothing to freak out about. -Blue LEDs are fantastic. -Fans keep everything cool. My system stays at about a 28-30C AVERAGE. Only my CPU and GPU get higher due to their jobs and projects I put them through (Cinema Resolution video graphics, Digital Graphic Design, Music Production, Film Editing, Gaming), but even then, the fans do an awesome job. I did upgrade to one more side vent 200mm fan from the NZXT site to compensate for the extra heat my CPU and GPU produce and it does a fantastic job. -Easy to take apart, reassemble (cleaning, dusting, etc) -DUST GUARDS ARE LITERALLY PIECES OF WIZARDRY. Virtually no dust gets in the computer. I've only had to dust it out once over the course of a year and there was practically nothing inside my computer. So you literally just have to wipe the dust guards and you're fine (most of the time). -Fan Control Sliders -ESATA front port -USB 3.0 and 2.0 front ports. -Nice power buttons and even has a reset button(There is a con about the reset button, however, see below.) -This case is a full tower, so it is MASSIVE.

Cons: My only cons after a year and a month of owning this case: -Initially taking apart to install the computer, the paint job seemed to be slightly still fresh inside the thumb screw holes. Unscrewing required an actual screw driver as opposed to just my thumb, but after that, everything was easy sailing. -The light for the two 100mm Side fans blinks occasionally, had to mess with wire organization and placement to get it to stop. -THE RESET BUTTON: This is an internal computer reset. The power button works normally if you press it once, it will ask your OS to shut down properly. The reset button, however, will just do it regardless of what your OS is doing. It is easy to just slip and hit it as well. However, it is possible to just not plug in the reset into your Motherboard, but depending where you place your computer, the situation of only hitting it by accident has only happened twice to me, and I've been able to avoid it, so it doesn't take off an egg for me.

Overall Review: Fantastic case. I will be going to NZXT for all my cases from now on. This case was for my first custom build and it does an amazing job. I would recommend this to a friend, family or anyone building a computer, even someone experienced.\ NZXT - You Rule.

GIGABYTE GV-N660OC-2GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: -I can run ALL of my Games on Ultra. Skyrim I have 4K texture mods, graphic mods, etc, etc, point is it is beautiful and my average frame-rate is 100-125fps -Got it when it came with Metro: Last Light and on ultra, that game has better graphics than real life. -The Giant fans work wonders keeping it cool. (I also have the NZXT Phantom which helps with the cooling) -Fast, clean, big and beautiful. -I can run my 3 monitors in Spanning mode and it is amazing. (Middle Monitor is HDMI to DVI with a HDMI to DVI Adapter) -As a graphics artist and motion graphics artist, this is a beautiful card for people starting to get into the craft seriously. This and the AMD I mentioned earlier, I took down video rendering times to half if not more of my previous computer.

Cons: Only one major complaint: I am not sure if this is the nVidia driver's fault or just the configuration of the card, but in order to update the driver while in spanning mode, the display crashes. So you have to disable Span and update, which could reset or mess up any specific desktop icon/widgets configurations you may have. I use rainmeter widgets across all 3 monitors, but I could easily exit out of it, update, and restart. The only real problem here is icon and wallpaper configurations.

Overall Review: OC'd with an AMD Zambezi 8-Core (OC'd to 3.8GHz), your games will get 100+fps. The only games where it "struggled" was the Crysis series, and Assassin's Creed 3 and 4 but event those got roughly 40 to 60fps which I am happy with. I am also
