Pros: Compact, G965 chipset, gigabit eth

Cons: READ THE DIRECTIONS BEFORE ASSEMBLING!! Seems obvious, but I didn't and I left the pads on the cpu heatsink. Have to get creative with the cabling when installing more than 1 hard drive. CPU heatsink has 1 screw that requires a really long type 2 phillips screwdriver so be warned.

Overall Review: Overall I'm pleased with this case and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for lots of features in a small package. Also for the Linux guys, use the VESA driver for X, a lot of installers will try the intel driver and it won't display right.

Pros: Roku app

Cons: Have to use Chrome to setup. Fan is crazy loud. Unit is unstable. Pauses during live tv. Recordings record sporadically. No consistency other than for it to fail when you want it to work. It won't work without an external HD so make sure you have one available. It also crashes the unit when I delete anything even the recordings that it failed on. All I see now in my recoridngs are failures. Can't even delete those without it crashing and requiring a power cycle to get back.

Overall Review: I bought this thinking that maybe the others weren't doing things right. I have a UPS, gigabit switch, everything wired with a powered antenna. So many scheduled recordings never record and instead give the error "This program could not be fully recorded as your Simple.TV was disconnected or lost power during the recording. You may be able to watch a portion of this recording." The thing is on a battery!! No power was lost!! I have a homerunhd and made sure that I'm getting the best signal possible and it still fails! Support is useless. They haven't returned my messages. It really seems that they released a product before it actually worked and expect their customers to bug test for them. I couldn't provide better circumstances for this thing to work and it still fails! Seriously, I have a server rack and dedicated hardware for this and it can't record consistently. The sad thing is that it will record as I watch the show that it fails to record and will let me pause and skip around but it somehow lost power while I watched it live with no interruption. Obviously they need to fix their error messages so we can do something to make it work. DO NOT BUY THIS!! Wait at least till 2015 before you look back at this product and simple.tv They'll probably be out of business by then or they might finally get their act together and get their products to deliver what they promise. I just wish they would open source their software so maybe the community can make the darn thing work.

Pros: Fan, size, price

Cons: Yes you can use 1TB HD's in this but only in individual mode, will not work in JBOD mode. JBOD is the only reason I bought this along with the price. Really a shame. JBOD works on my 500GB drives and smaller, just not with 1TB drives.

Pros: Fast, big

Cons: Contrary to what you may think, there are MANY HD's out there that are SILENT when in operation. This is NOT! It clicks when in use like HD's of old. I'm so annoyed by it that I'm going to have to take it back for a Seagate that is SILENT even though Maxtor and Seagate are now the same company.

Overall Review: Wish I had just waited and bought a Seagate like my instinct said to.

Pros: Great construction, intelligent design, especially with the location of the fans and hd's, keeps my file server under control, and the price is excellent as well

Cons: Be careful of the power supply you use, it can get in the way of the bar that crosses the case to hold big cards

Overall Review: I'm a very happy camper, I'll never understand why rack mount cases are so dang expensive, but this is a great buy
