Amazing Mouse!
Pros: Amazing mouse for a great price. Extremely comfortable to use (I have big hands). Movement is tracked accurately and preset DPIs work well. Buttons on the mouse that I primary use are easily pressed/accessible.
Cons: Not sure if you can really call this a con, but the glossy surface will track your prints. Doesn't bother me at all though.
Overall Review: I have tried a variety of other gaming mice (Logitech, Razer, etc.) and this is hands-down my favorite. If you have the dexterity, reaction time, and a keen eye for details , you will immediately notice how fluid/accurate the movement feels from the moment you initial use the mouse.
The last ASUS product I will ever buy
Pros: Performs just as well as any other 580 GTX in its class, but means absolutely nothing if the card doesn't work.
Cons: I had heavy artifacting after one month of use. The frequency and severity increased until the card stopped displaying video and would prevent my system from POSTing. ASUS Customer Support is the worst I have ever dealt with. I had a RMA created and shipped out the card (on my dime) and had it back in my possession a month later. The card POSTed and within 20 minutes the artifacting was back and 24 hours later it was back to crashing and not allowing my system to POST. I have a reference 580 GTX and my system runs perfectly with that card. I called in again and was told I would qualify for their "Advanced Replacement" which means they ship out a refurbished video card and mail mine out after I receive the replacement card. I was told a "Stock Check" would need to be performed which takes 48 hours to complete. I called back 4 days later and the next technician told me that they saw that I had called in and requested a Stock Check, but last the tech never sent the request in.
Overall Review: The request was sent in and two days later I was told that it was not in stock and I had to ship my card back to ASUS (again on my dime). I have sent the card and have UPS verifying that it was received by them on the 31st. I called them today and the tech on the phone stated that they did not see in the system as being received and needed to transfer me to another department then hung up on me. I called back and got the same tech who asked me to call back tomorrow. I am leaving a lot out of this because I don't have the space to write a complete review.
Excellent monitor
Pros: Every monitor is calibrated and ready to go out of the box. Lots of inputs (2 DVI, HDMI, DP, VGA Component, Composite, Audio). Excellent picture quality and excellent support.
Cons: Cost - wait for promotions/sales (they regularly go on sale). I have purchased 10 of these and got them all at roughly half off.
Overall Review: I am using six of these at the moment for virtual machine monitoring and have done gaming extensively as well. They work great with NVIDIA surround and the picture quality I found to be the best in its class. One of the ten monitors came with a bright pixel out of the box, but Dell's panel guarantee had a new one sent to me (did not have to send the old one back first), which arrived the next day.
Best Enthusiast Case
Pros: Easy to create an extremely clean build with a multitude of fans, custom cooling, I/O, etc. due to the space and cable management options. You will find that a lot of thought was put into engineering the case as you're working on it. The most pleasant experience I have had with a build/case so far.
Cons: Limited availability during initial release, limited documentation on the case (though I didn't need it)
Overall Review: Some might argue that the price is a bit steep, but I have no regrets with my purchase. It was nice not having the case being a limiting factor for the things I wanted to do with my build. I imagine the case will last for a few builds, so the $ evens out in the end.
GeForce 680 GTX P4-3685
Pros: I purchased an ASUS 580 GTX upon release and had nothing but issues with the card. After months of shipping the card to ASUS on my dime (worst customer service I have ever received), they replaced it with a reference 580 GTX, which had no issues. With that being said, I was weary about jumping to a 680 GTX, but needed to either add another graphics card or go with a Kepler to support my new display setup (4x Dell U2410 displays). I have not had any issues with the card yet. I'm running Windows 8 and have shifted between running NV Surround with accessory display for some games and primarily running the four displays in extended mode. It has handled everything marvelously. My rig consists of an Intel 2600K @ 4.8 GHz, 32 GB RAM, SSD, etc. The purchase also came with a free copy of Assassin's Creed 3 and Borderlands 2. The card is quieter, cooler, and performs better than my 580 GTX. Have no regrets whatsoever with my purchase.
Cons: None at the moment.
Bad RAM
Pros: None at the moment.
Cons: Installed the RAM in my MacBook Pro 15" Mid-2012 laptop. Mac OS X 10.8.2 picked up the RAM without issue, but the RAM failed the Apple Hardware Test or would cause the test to freeze/lock up altogether. Returning the RAM.
