Bad

Linksys AE2500-RM High Performance Wireless-N Adapter IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n USB 2.0 Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates
Linksys AE2500-RM High Performance Wireless-N Adapter IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n USB 2.0 Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: Ummm, cheap.

Cons: So, apparently it is refurbished, I may have not read well enough before purchasing, but I was unaware of that. It came in little to no packaging, moving around freely in the box. A little over a week of use and the light has dimmed and it has stopped working all together. I have never had an issue with Linksys before, but I don't see myself buying their products again anytime soon. What really bugs me about this is my laptop, which is right next to my desktop, using a cheap little wifi receiver gets 5 bars and this crumby linksys stick is saying no networks found. I have personally not owned one, but I'm going to get an Ethernet to wireless adapter. Even if that thing comes broken, it couldn't be nearly as bad as this awful product.

Overall Review: I would have written a strongly worded review if Newegg would have allowed me.

Don't Buy It

Linksys AE2500 High Performance Dual-Band Wireless-N Adapter IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n USB 2.0 Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates
Linksys AE2500 High Performance Dual-Band Wireless-N Adapter IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n USB 2.0 Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: None

Cons: So, it worked for about a week, then suddenly the light on it dimmed and it stopped working completely. I will not ever be buying from linksys again. It came in almost no packaging and when I received it looked like it had been dragged through mud, seriously. It was dirty and the marks on it would not come off. I am seriously displeased with this product.

Overall Review: Its bad...

Its Bad, nuff said

Microsoft Windows 8 Professional 64-bit (Full Version)
Microsoft Windows 8 Professional 64-bit (Full Version)

Pros: There is one, and its colorful.

Cons: I could write hundreds of pages about how bad this OS is, but you wouldn't read that, so I'll get to the point. First being general usability. It is tablet software the MS thought, in their endless wisdom, would work on a PC. Ho1y cow it sucks. There was no reason for them to put the Metro interface on the desktop version of Windows 8. The second one that really annoys me is the fact that it never, ever gives you a good information on anything. I tried to connect to the internet before plugging in the wireless adapter, and it told me I had 5 bars of connectivity... there was no internet, I wasn't even connected to a network. It just sucks, through and through.

Pain in the Neck

Linksys AE2500 High Performance Dual-Band Wireless-N Adapter IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n USB 2.0 Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates
Linksys AE2500 High Performance Dual-Band Wireless-N Adapter IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n USB 2.0 Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: It works, sorta. It does what it is meant to do most of the time. Its small. I got it on sale for about 20 bucks.

Cons: -Holds connection for an hour at most. -Even right next to router I get 3 bars. -I can't find any new driver software, would appear it isnt supported anymore -Have to frequently unplug and plug back in to get any wireless networks to appear, eve though I'm no more than 20 yards away from the router

Overall Review: It just gets kinda tiresome to unplug and then plug it back in again every time I start my computer. I have it hooked up to an extended USB cable to get more range, so it's lucky i had one of those lying around. If your just casually surfing the web this will be okay I guess, but if you're trying to game with it look elsewhere.
