G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Desktop Memory Model F3-8500CL7D-8GBRL

Pros: It's RAM, it works.

Cons: Doesn't get hot enough to cook your bacon.

Athena Power AP-MPS3ATX40 400W Micro PS3 / ATX12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready DELL, HP Upgrades/Replacement Power Supply

Pros: It powers my machine.

Cons: It surges all the time. When I first built my computer over 2 years ago, it would randomly shut off 2 or 3 times a day due to power surges. After a week or so, though, it became a lot more stable. I figured this was just because I bought a cheap motherboard, but since replacing it with a new motherboard last week, I'm still continuing to experience issues with the power supply. Every time I turn my computer on my motherboard tells me it detected surges. And every once in a while, while using the computer, it'll get choppy and slow and eventually shut down. As far as I can tell, this is because it's failing to properly juice my system. But I'm not an expert, just my opinion after changing everything but the power supply and still having the same issues.

Overall Review: Don't buy it. Seriously. Just spend a few extra minutes looking for something else.

Works as advertised, no issues whatsoever.

Overall Review: Recommend.

ECS GeForce GT 440 (Fermi) 512MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Graphics Card NGT440-512QI-F1

Pros: I have to say I'm impressed with this little guy. I'm able to play BF3 at medium-low settings without a hiccup, SC2 runs on medium-ish settings without a problem, and I'm able to play a host of other games at the medium level, like Civ5 and TW: Shogun 2.

Cons: Has a slight problem with windows media player and video files for some reason. Using VLC it works perfectly; but in WMP, if you try to skip around in the video, it takes a while to load it up. I just find that annoying, not enough to knock an egg off over, however.

Overall Review: Not bad at all for $80.

Its love baby

Pros: Man I love this thing! -price -performance -its got 3 cores (aren't odd numbers fun?) -cooks me breakfast

Cons: Lots of cons -wasn't free -doesn't install itself -sucks at cooking breakfast

Overall Review: I lied. It doesn't cook me breakfast.

ASUS M4N68T-M AM3 NVIDIA Geforce 7025/nForce 630a Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS M4N68T-M AM3 NVIDIA Geforce 7025/nForce 630a Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: It works, its cheap, no real problems, just a bunch of minor annoyances.

Cons: Had the hardest time getting this thing's BIOS flashed. Connections to the front audio and USB don't work, but I don't use them anyways so not really a con for me. For the first week it would randomly shut off completely, claiming the power supply surged. However, for some reason, either the mobo or the PSU fixed itself and it hasn't done it since. Oh, ASUS customer service is laughable.

Overall Review: I could've got a much better board for only $5 more! Why oh why was I in such a rush to order? :(
