Fantastic

Pros: I have antenna for over the air reception of digital TV. I have an old Olevia LCD TV in my basement rec room. The TV receiver on the Olevia quit working, but devices connected via HDMI were still functioning normally. So I thought this external receiver might work to replace the internal receiver that had quit working. YES. It works like a charm connected by HDMI. It was a straight forward set up. The KWorld receiver picked up all the stations there are (via coax from my roof top antenna). The picture is great. The TV is 720p, which looks just fine. Its all working better than I hoped for.
Cons: The remote is kind of funky, but it works.
Overall Review: I would recommend this to anyone in the same situation as me. Instead of buying a new TV, or trying to get an old heavy TV repaired, this external receiver has given my old set a new lease on life.
First Build

Pros: Putting together my first build was easier than I imagined it would be. Since this was my first build, I don't have anything to compare it to. The processor dropped into place and the heatsink and fan installation was a no brainer. My build booted up first time and everything is working perfectly.
Cons: The instructions could have been a little clearer. The pictures were fuzzy. I think some of them were mirror imaged.
Overall Review: I have not tried to unlock the other cores on this processor, although I am very aware that that is the reason a lot of people buy it. I have read the instructions on unlocking, and I can see its simple enough to do. But I bought the processor because I read good reviews of it as is. I am new to building computers, and I used the stock heat sink and fan, so I am not going to try to unlock the other cores just yet. For my purposes, this machine is running just right as it is. I have a 64 GB SSD, 4GB of RAM and Windows 7 64 bit. It is working fabulously and FAST, so why fix what isn't broken?
very satisfied

Pros: This was my first computer build. I chose this Thermaltake Power supply after doing a lot of research. This power supply is working perfectly. It had every kind of connection I needed, with a lot left for future enhancements to my build. My build booted up flawlessly and has been humming along ever since.
Cons: I don't think I will ever need the second 12v connector.
Overall Review: Building my first computer was a lot of fun. I will definitely do it again. Thanks to everyone who rights reviews, participates in forums and has put "how to build a computer" out on the net. Love Newegg.
new life for an old PC

Pros: My friend was going to landfill his 7 year old PC. I thought it was worth saving. I installed a new 500 GB hdd, a decent double layer dvd with lightscribe, and this curcial memory, increasing memory from 256mb to 1 G. It was a great project and the results were worth the few dollars spent. The memory was recognized immediately and the PC is working great. Obviously, we couldn't turn it into a powerful gaming machine, but for home office use and saving some home photos, its got some life left in it.
Cons: It took all my might to get the moduals seated. I mean, I really had to push HARD.
