I love this scanner
Pros: 1) Scans fast (new computer, usb 3.0 connection) 2) Bundled software works well (I mainly have been just "scanning to file" with ScanSnap manager) 3) 1 jam out of 1,000 pages 4) Can scan very small papers (receipts, ect) with other sizes in the same batch without a hiccup. PDF's come out sharp and clear even when source is wrinkled. Page folds do show up, but it has to be pretty deep creasing
Cons: Auto detection of color sometimes will scan in B&W when I would pick grey scale to deal with finely dithered monochrome documents. Auto detection of page orientation gets it right most of the time .. seems to not like a page of very small text.
Overall Review: This scanner is replacing a old but much more expensive scanner (B&H Sidekick 1200) and it seems to have more functionality and just as speedy and reliable. For the price I am very happy with this product and would recommend it over the scanning function of a AIO printer hands down, as the time it saved verses the price was worth it to me.
A beast of a system.
Pros: Well packed, showed up with no shipping damage. Video card was very well supported. Windows 11 pro was activated No system integrator surprises that I could find.
Cons: Some optional software to control the motherboard and video card needed to be downloaded. Hard drive was partitioned (personal preference)
Overall Review: Good machine, would definitely recommend going corsair to be sure about the power supply and case. Pretty much the only way to get a decent video card atm.
Nice, when it works
Pros: Good sound, lower power. Takes high volt or digital RCA input. As a pro, newegg's cons timer service was stellar in resolving the issue. Some company's just about forget you when it comes time to honor a return policy. It was painless, reps where helpful and so present to deal with.
Cons: On line conditioned power with on board gain set to middle the sub made it 3 days (3 movies on adult volume) ... The culprit was a bad fuse which was replaced for testing purposes 1a 250v slow blow ... With new fuse device lasted 10 mins on auto with no sound being supplied to subwoofer .. I never had the device turned up loud enough to make the speaker " bottom out" as my system was setup for a 40w used Phillips powered sub that was over 10 yrs old (which was put back on place and is still doing fine)
Overall Review: This sub is a good deal, I suppose I just ended up with one that was poorly made and or tested. I used to work for a factory that made icb's and it happens, but I did expect better quality control from pioneer.. So if you plan on purchasing this product .. Test it right away and for a good length of time to make sure you got a "good one" .. A large percentage of electronics fail with in the first dozen power cycles.
Crazy Fast !
Pros: Did a new build for a friends big box store machine, this drive is just ridiculous fast. It scores higher on the 7 index than my 10,000rpm raid setup. 7.4 vs 6.2 Running in a AMD x3 system 4GB DDR3 ATI 5770 1GB
Cons: Price per GB, to be expected.
Overall Review: I would like to try this drive in a RAID setup vs one of the PCI-e aio cards that are promising faster speeds yet. I am sure that on-board raid controllers just can't handle all that SSD goodness, but it made me a convert. This product blew me away enough to right my 1st review
works well
Pros: used to upgrade memory in a HP pavilion laptop that takes DDR 333 sodimms
Cons: nothing so far
Overall Review: good price
this case ROCKS
Pros: This case is very well made and has a brushed aluminum face and glossy black paint finish. Also has 2 92mm fan openings with a dust filter. Component installation was effortless and went quickly.
Cons: 1) you have the option of 3 cdroms and a floppy or 4 cdroms 2) this case is not tooless by any stretch of the imagination 3) alittle on the large size for a mid tower atx 4) no power supply
Overall Review: as far as I am concerned this case is a GREAT buy for someone that needs a well made case and likes sedate styling
