Pros: Light and portable, Fast boot and processing speed, Great performance/Value. Matte hi-resolution screen. Great gaming rig. Very useful manufacturer computer management software utility.

Cons: Power supply lacks elegance and magnetic connector. Would like a faster GPU option or more VRAM.

Overall Review: I switched from a15" i7 Macbook pro and I enjoy getting high perfomance in a very compact and light form factor. I use it for on-location photography capture and editing and like the screen. Once calibrated, it is a compromise free experience. My main gripe is: The Power Supply. It's the only thing I miss from my MacBook. The lack of a magnetic breakaway connection makes me worry that one day the laptop will end up on the floor from tripping on the PS cord. Gigabyte's computer management utility has a lot of options for managing performance and battery life. You can get much more battery life by setting performance to "Low" and reducing screen brightness. With these setting battery life is almost 3.5 hours using Photoshop and Capture software. While not as robust as a desktop for gaming, the GPU is adequate for the Games I play (BF3 and BF4).
