Perfect!
Pros: Great power supply! Fan is quiet, when it actually turns on which is not necessary most of the time. Full modular cables which is fantastic, only use the ones I need. High quality finish, and connectors. Overall very happy with this purchase.
Cons: None
Overall Review: This power supply is rated quiet well on HardOCPs PSU tests which is arguably the most strenuous power supply test out there. I personally have no way to verify this, but if I this thing is anywhere near their tested efficiency and voltage regulation, I think this is an absolute steal and an amazing bang for the buck at $149 (used to be $199). Get yours before they run out! Personally I hope they keep making these I will be using this power supply on every build, as long as they keep sellin'em!
Great monitor, some caveats.
Pros: Great displays! Crisp but not to bright, better than average contrast and color reproduction, lots of useful settings, thin, light, and attractive. Incredible bang for the buck for the $180 something I picked these up for.
Cons: Resolution is a little low for this size, but not really that big of a deal, they still look great and that is to be expected in this price range. My biggest complaint is that the stand is not detachable once attached. I like to keep the boxes to pack them in when I move to keep them safe but the stand will not detach as far as I can tell without possibly breaking the thing. This is the only reason it lost one egg. Also there is no mount points for any sort of rear wall mount system, which I wasnt really expecting but would have been nice. The only other issue that I have is that the touch sensitive controls can sometimes be... not so sensitive.
Overall Review: Overall very happy with my purchase, wish they were still in still in stock, would love to pick up another one.
Much better than average
Pros: Hardware is well supported by even the default Windows 7 installation. Signal strength was average to below average with the stock antenna, however I intended to attach an external wireless antennta to the unit so that wasnt really an issue with me. With the external antenna I have full signal strength everywhere in the house, through brick walls, everything. Otherwise the unit works as expected, latency is low to average, throughput is average to slightly above average with the stock antenna and excellent with an external antenna.
Cons: None really, other than the stock antenna performance. If youre paying this kind of money for a card, you might as well get the D-Link external antenna to go with it. Otherwise you simply will not get the full benefit out of this card. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833996013&cm_re=dlink_antenna-_-33-996-013-_-Product
Overall Review: I really dont know why or how these other reviewers have had issues with this card. The default windows 7 sp1 install detected the hardware and worked perfectly on first boot. Though I did have some issues with dropping connections when I was using my WAP54G router, those have completely disappeared with my new ASUS RT-N56U. Youre luck may vary I suppose but I am extremely happy with this card.
Nice case, but awkward size.
Pros: Nice case for the price, ample room inside for some fairly decent hardware, seems fairly sturdy, and sufficient airflow.
Cons: Awkwardly deep, too deep for most modern equipment cabinets that are specifically designed for flat panels. Would be perfect were it about 2 inches shorter, the extra length seems absolutely unnecessary.
