worked great for about 3 years.
Pros: Worked great for as long as I had it. Running a quad core CPU, 8 GB RAM, gtx 460 GPU, 3 sata HDD's (1 10k RPM raptor). Bought mine in early 2010...
Cons: ...and it died in early 2013. I guess 3 years or less is about the shelf life now of most PSU's. I was able to RMA it to Coolermaster, but then they sent me a DOA one on arrival. I wish they were more reliable. They left no documentation on what to do if the replacement was DOA. :(
Overall Review: It would have been nice if this product lasted at least 5 years or more, which is about the life of most average PC's these days. Instead it only lasted about 3 years, which is quite disappointing. I've had older PSU's last longer than this one did. :(
Great when it lasted...
Pros: Was really quiet and the lights worked well.
Cons: After about 1 year and a half of use (got this in December 2016), it started making noises on and off. Even after cleaning any dust out of it and out of my case, it still will randomly start making noise once a week. Not sure if something is shot in it or it's just dying.
Overall Review: For the price, it's ok. I just wish it would have lasted more than a year and a half.
Good for 3 years...
Pros: Was a great power supply for as long as it worked. Ran a quad core system 8 GB of RAM with a gtx 460 card and 3 sata hdd's (one of them 10k RPM).
Cons: died after 3 years of use, and when I RMA'd it to Coolermaster, they sent me a DOA one in return. I have no clue how to get the DOA one back to them as I don't know what I need to input on their web site. :(
Overall Review: I've had many PSU's over the years, and most last more than 3 years. Just seems like the quality is not as good these days as it used to be.
