Pros: The drive is FAST! BLAZING FAST! When connected to a computer that's optimized for USB 3, like a modern Mac, I'm able to transfer HUGE multi-gigabyte files in seconds, or at most a minute or two.

Cons: The protective cap doesn't fit securely at all, and is way too easily popped off, like when sitting in a backpack. It takes very little force to accidentally remove the cap. As a result, the connector for the drive can be easily damaged. If it wasn't for the poor construction and design of the cap, I would easily give this drive a 5/5 rating. The drive is also very wide, so if you have USB ports that are close together and oriented horizontally, the drive won't fit with other plugged in devices.

Overall Review: If you can make sure that you don't damage the drive connector (since the poorly designed and constructed protective cap isn't at all reliable), then this drive is fantastic, due to it's sheer SPEED.

Pros: Works right out of the box, easy to setup, install, and use. I put my laptop drive in it and plugged it into a friend's computer, and it read it like any other external drive.

Cons: Only used it for a day to retrieve important data, so haven't really found any yet. Oh, except this minor one--the case is really smooth, so it can easily slide around a table and potentially fall off if you're not careful.

Overall Review: The metallic blue case is really attractive.
