Excellent Headset for gaming.

Corsair Vengeance 1500 USB Connector Circumaural Dolby 7.1 Gaming Headset
Corsair Vengeance 1500 USB Connector Circumaural Dolby 7.1 Gaming Headset

Pros: This headset has all the bells and whistles. You can't find a better headset for the price, I got mine on sale for $70 U.S. and it's one of the best buys of the year considering my old headset was a 10 year old logitech. The software this headset comes with is very nice, and allows you to tailor your listening or gaming experience to exactly the way you want it. It has the option of regular stereo mode, or surround sound mode, which is great for first person shooters and horror survival games. The software also allows you to customize a mixer for different levels, just in case you want those explosions a little boomier. You can create custom preset profiles for the mixer for whatever you may be playing or listening to at the time. The mic on this headset is quite sensitive and great sounding, but not so sensitive that you get a lot of white noise coming through it. It will pick up people in my background talking if their in the same room, but you can change the sensitivity of the mic if you don't want that happening to you, I'm a soft speaker so I had to turn mine up half way. The solid build and toughness of this headset is great. It doesn't feel like it's going to rattle or break anytime soon, and I use mine everyday for talking on skype/teamspeak and playing pc games. Large ear cups on this headset are great for fully covering my ears and drowning out external noises. In a house full of other gamers this is a must for me. Also has a VERY long braided cord with lit up volume buttons and a mic mute button which is easy to press in a hurry, a pro if you get too many phone calls while trying to play a game. It's very comfortable for those long gaming sessions into the late nights and wee early hours of the morning. I have a decent sized head at 6'3 and these don't really bother me since I take a break every 2 hours or so anyways.

Cons: I haven't really found too many cons to this headset yet, but there are a couple. The sound gets all wonky (although very rare) and you have to go into the headsets software and switch in between the regular headset and back to surround to fix it. It's interrupted a couple of my gaming sessions and is a terrible headache if you're trying to record your game play and this happens. Fast and easy fix, but still a big con for me. I have seen people complain about the low level of bass in these, and that they don't quite vibrate their head. But if you go into the custom mixer in the software, you can just turn those lower levels up and bling blam, more bass. It's not going to vibrate on your head, but it's a very noticeable difference. I don't consider this a con, but some people might. The cloth on the earphones are dust magnets, but you can just pat them off if they get dusty.

Overall Review: Assessment: These headphones are an excellent buy if you're in the market for a new gaming headset. The overall quality for sound and mic quality is the best I've owned for gaming, and the surround sound is a must have. Software is great but needs a little tweaking. One last note: I have a lot of earrings and I have to tuck my earrings into the ear phones to be comfortable using these for long hours. So if you have many earrings or long dangly ones, take them off or just tuck them in.

Most Critical Review

Died in two days.

APC BR1500MS 1500 VA SineWave 10 Outlets 2 USB Charging Ports Back-UPS Pro Battery Backup, Replaces BR1500G

Pros: Works when it's not dead. Good options.

Cons: My personal experience with this product was not good. After 2 days of use, and it not being close to full load, it threw out an F02 error code and screamed at me. I followed all the instructions and looked for answers. I got a lemon, more likely.

Overall Review: My personal recommendation would be another brand.

Good product for the price.

MEE Apple iPad 2/3/4 Premium Leatherette Stand Case with holding strap
MEE Apple iPad 2/3/4 Premium Leatherette Stand Case with holding strap

Pros: This case is made of a touch material, though I'm not sure how long it'll last at the office with constant use and handling. Ipad4 snapped into place quite easily, and I'm quite sure it'll stay in place as long as I don't drop it on some concrete. Plenty of color choices. Got two of them at a good price.

Cons: The colors aren't as vibrant as shown in the pictures. The leatherette covering sometimes feels cheap and I feel like a rubber cover would be a better investment for Ipad protection. Holding this case with one hand feels a little awkward sometimes. Although the picture shows the case holding up the Ipad by itself, it takes a little bit of fandangeling to get it right the way you want it. Also: The strap on the back has too much give in it, and I'm not anywhere comfortable with having only that strap hold it to my hand.

Overall Review: Assessment: This product is quite good for the money you may pay for it, if it's on sale. Otherwise I would invest in a rubber cover, or something sturdier over all. If you're on a budget, this is the cover for you.

Very good mouse for gaming.

Logitech G500 10 Buttons Dual-mode Scroll Wheel USB Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
Logitech G500 10 Buttons Dual-mode Scroll Wheel USB Wired Laser Gaming Mouse

Pros: This mouse is well weighted out of the box. I like a nice heavy mouse so it won't go sliding around on my mousepad and so in FPS games, my shots are more deliberate. I added all the heaviest weights to it in the little weight holder that slides out from the bottom, perfect weight now. It won't move unless I want it to, and It's quite comfortable to use for hours at a time. The braided cord is a very nice touch, and long! Very fast, responsive mouse. DPI can be customized and changed on the fly with the single press of a button. Very useful for shooters.

Cons: I could see a minute amount of cons within the several months I've had it. It's quite a large mouse, so if you don't have reasonably sized hands, it could be too big for you. (As this mouse is a perfect fit for me, I won't mention it any further) Every so often I get the "double-click" action, but only if I'm clicking too lightly. Since all I have to do is be more specific and deliberate with my clicks, it doesn't happen. Therefore it doesn't effect the score I'm personally issuing.

Overall Review: All in all, this mouse is worth the money in my opinion. There aren't that many decent mice out there that can do what this one does with this kind of quality. If you want a mouse to be more precise with for gaming or shooters, this is the mouse and brand for you. I've been gaming for years and I've always trusted Logitech for my hardware needs.
