Better than my 3080 ti but the USB-C Port is wonky

SAPPHIRE Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Graphics Card 21322-01-20G
SAPPHIRE Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Graphics Card 21322-01-20G

Pros: My 4K displays look better and more crisp than with the NVIDIA. Only tried World of Warships but the look and feel of the game was immediately noticeably better. Ran World of Warships at 4K 144hz between 160-180 fps. Graphics look incredible with absolutely no lag. Never saw junction temps get above 70c and GPU stayed below 60c. I am also running a very well ventilated case with 2 high flow exhaust fans directly above the card with the card mounted vertically. Only consumes 3 slots!

Cons: USB-C port is DOA and did not work. Having to RMA the card. Would rather have this card without USB-C but this was the first one that was in stock. USB-C Port is DOA!!!!!!! Did not work with a USB-C Thunderbolt 3 40Gbps cable. Did not work with a USB-C to HDMI adapter. Flat out did not work. Hoping the replacement card works. Not seeing the benefit of having a USB-C port. Update to the above. I was finally able to get the USB-C port to recognize. I installed the card in a fresh build machine and used ONLY the USB-C Port and it worked. It is possible this may have resolved my issue initially but booting to USB-C only should not be a requirement to get it to work. Another big Con is that my USB-C monitor is a 4k 144hz monitor but with a USB-C Thunderbolt 3 cable I was limited to 60hz. What is even the point of having a USB-C connection if it does not support faster than 60hz @ 4K? With 2 x 4K and 2 x 1080p monitors it pulls a consistent 100w of power. I never looked at the power draw on the 3080 ti to be able to compare against.

Overall Review: Is it worth $1000 for a GPU? IDK, maybe. It runs better than the 3080 ti that it replaces. Also, this card is a brick. It feels twice as heavy as a 6700 XT card. If you are looking for a 7900 XT and you do not need a bunch of RGB and the potential limitations of USB-C is not an issue then I would save the $100 or so over the other XTX cards.

Mee audio EP-A161P-BK-MEE 3.5mm Connector Earbud In-Ear Noise-Canceling Headphones with Balanced Armature Technology
Mee audio EP-A161P-BK-MEE 3.5mm Connector Earbud In-Ear Noise-Canceling Headphones with Balanced Armature Technology

Pros: They are the best sounding earbuds I have owned. They are not noise cancelling but when listening to music or watching movies you can hear very little ambient noise.

Cons: The right earbud failed after only a few uses. They were working great and plugged them in last night and there is now a loud crackling in the right side earbud at any volume level other than low. I have requested an RMA and replacement from Newegg. Chances are also high that you will have to use the adapter cable (Supplied) for them to work with your smart phone. I have a Nokia 920 and an iPad Mini and both require the adapter for the headset remote to function. When using as a phone headset it almost seems to amplify nearby voices and audio. Something no other headset has done.

Overall Review: It comes in a really nice box and packaging. My recommendation is to skip the nice packaging and make a product that lasts longer than a week. These are not worth the $100 + retail. I only purchased them because the sale price is what you pay for ok earbuds in other brands. If the RMA comes through and the replacements last longer than a week I may improve my rating. If they had not died I would say. 5 Eggs for Audio Quality in music and movies 2.5 Eggs for use as a Headset because of background noise and requiring the use of an adapter cable 5 Eggs for Packaging

ContourGPS is a No GO

Contour GPS HD Helmet Video Camera
Contour GPS HD Helmet Video Camera

Pros: Bullet Cam style Camera. Selectable recording settings.

Cons: Limited Bluetooth functions. Limited GPS Options. Mine never recorded any GPS Settings. The mounting options seemed like they would be better than others but turned out to be difficult to remove. Nothing about this camera worked for me out of the box. The StoryTeller software is annoying and required if you want to see any GPS data. You also cannot see Speed or Altitude unless you upload the video to their site. No thanks.

Overall Review: Before you purchase the ContourHD or the ContourGPS please review their options in full. For the money there are much better cameras.
