Fast
Pros: I bought 3 of these SSDs so far for various systems and my recent one was for my new Asus ROG laptop. The original HDD that came with the laptop was real slow on startup along with other applications and my first intentions was to get another one of these. Once I installed the new SSD and transferred the OS onto it, it was instant bootup. It takes about 3 seconds before the login screen shows up which is stupid fast. All my applications load very fast, I can not be anymore happier with this purchase.
Cons: None what so ever
Overall Review: Samsungs SSD comes through like usual.
Broken on arrival
Pros: Lots of memory storage, perfect for what I need it for, wished it worked when I got it.
Cons: The product came in 2 boxes which might've destroyed the inside of the disk. When setting the disk up I heard a skipping sound when I booted the computer, didn't think much of it but I knew something was wrong. When making a partition on the disk it would not even start the partition cause it would give me an error message saying it could not run. Unplugged it and tried plugging it in again with the same result. Very disappointed this time around newegg.
Overall Review: Please don't ship the HDD in a big box when you have it in the small box with little cushion in the big box that makes it move a lot. That's what caused it to break. Went through WD instead to replace the drive, got the HDD only a few days after RMAing on their site. Put the new drive in and no damage at all PC recognized it and was able to partition the disk and add the volume. So now it operational and doing what it needs to do.
Easy Install for GTX1080 FE
Pros: Easy to install Exactly fits on the GTX 1080 FE card Has all the tools you will need Keeps the card nice and cool and has great contact with the gpu and vram parts
Cons: Instructions are a tad confusing at times Not much room for error when cutting the pads
Overall Review: This is a great product to have for anyone that does liquid cooling. It's keeping my 1080 cool, 29c idle and doesn't go over 45c under full load. The price is right where it needs to be and also has a couple openings to inset some LED lighting. This does not have the RGB like the newer ones do. It's a solid product and will pickup another one when I purchase another 1080.
Great CPU For Price
Pros: Bought this for a new build and my first AMD build and have to say this CPU runs very nice. No major flaws and its does what it needs to do. Temps with Arctic MX-4 thermal compound run 15-20c idle with stock heatsink, haven't benchmark the CPU yet but will do it soon.
Cons: None that I can think of
Overall Review: I didn't buy this CPU for gaming not like with my other builds I bought it cause this person that asked me to build it wanted something that will last for a long time and would not hurt the wallet. An AMD build was the best option for them and so far it worked out well.
Fantastic Board
Pros: I bought this board for a family member since they needed a major upgrade without emptying the wallet. I have to say I was not disappointed at all, this board does exactly what it needs to do, The UEFI BIOS is very easy to navigate and the software that came with it was very easy to install and get all the components to work. Thought about going to the UD5 but for the price of this board and all the features you can't go wring with this.
Cons: The only con I have is the extras that came with the board, it only came with a couple manuals, SATA cables, and software CDs. It felt pretty empty for the price.
Overall Review: Other components that went with the board. AMD FX-8320 Corsair Dominator Platinum 8GB DDR3 Samsung Pro 128GB SSD With what this family member does it is more than enough for them and its going to make a great Christmas gift with the other things I have added to make this build even more special. Gigabyte has never let me down yet and I recommend them to all of my friends and family, they offer the best bang for buck.
Best bang for buck
Pros: I upgraded to this card from a XFX 6990 and I can say the performance is day and night. Installation was a breeze and my PC picked it up right away. It's not as power hungry as a lot of other cards out there and being only 10 inches in length it will fit most cases. Love how this card is very adjustable, haven't installed the software cause I don't need it. If you're looking for a nice upgrade that will last a few years this card will do the trick.
Cons: This card does tend to get pretty hot when it's in intense applications, make sure you have proper cooling near the card so it does not overheat and shutdown you're PC.
Overall Review: I will be liquid cooling this card soon and I will be seeing my temps go from 75c to 40c under full load which will make it last a lot longer. I would suggest trying to get two of these when possible.
