nice camera
Pros: Small size, nice black/silver look, fast startup, solid design, excellent image quality. Very happy with this camera so far, can't wait to take more shots with it.
Cons: limited manual mode, but hey, it's a point and shoot, not a slr.
Overall Review: Upgrade from powershot sd450, this camera is smaller and takes cleaner photos vs my old camera. I've owned Canon digitals since the s100, the powershots only get better, I wouldn't own another brand.
Comments: Got a bad board, first time i had to RMA w/Newegg and first time i've had a bad MSI product. I tried 3 different brands of memory - crucial 2100ddr, kingston hyperX 2700DDR, and generic 2700DDR all resulted in the board not posting. using a 400W Wintech PS and a XP 1800+. There's no refund, so i'll post how my new board works out when I get another.
Lenovo T61 Memory Upgrade
Pros: Upgraded my T61's memory with this 4GB module, had 2x2GB sticks, left one in and added this Mushkin 4GB stick for a total of 6GB registering on my x64 Win8.1 laptop. Easy and painless upgrade with no problems so far, and machine running faster.
Cons: None.
Lenovo T61 Drive Replacement
Pros: Easy swap with a T61, replaced the oem 160GB drive that was failing with this 250GB. So far so good, it's a bit faster and more storage than I need for this old back-up laptop.
Cons: None so far.
works beautifully with Win7
Pros: External antenna works exceptionally well, since my pc is under a heavy desk Price was right Signal strength was significantly better than my Linksys and Buffalo G cards
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: I had problems getting a strong signal with my desktop positioned under my desk. I went through 2 different PCI cards until picking this card up w/it's external antenna. The antenna sits on top of the desk, I now have excellent signal strength to my network - works excellent!
Great Server Box
Pros: Very small footprint compared to my old monster server. Quiet, releatively cool. Possible space for 2 HDD's using 5.25" bay with adapter. Processing power is adequate if you're planning to use this as a NAS/File/WHS server.
Cons: Could have better fan/cooling system. This is probably not the right solution if you're looking for a daily desktop or HD Media server.
Overall Review: My configuration: 2GB Ram 1 x 500GB 7200 Seagate (OS drive) 1 x 1.5TB Samsung Ecogreen drive (using 5.25" optical drive bay with adapter) Win 7 Ultimate
