Great!
Pros: Very quiet. Modular! All of the cables supplied were just the right fit for my Fractal R2 full tower case.
Cons: I haven't seen any so far.
Cheap, but works
Pros: It's inexpensive and does what it's supposed to do. It came in the right color and looks nice.
Cons: Cheaply made. It was impossible to tell that I'd overtightened a couple of the screws that mounted the drive to the bracket until the plastic cracked. Conversely, the screws on the outside of the bracket (to mount the bracket to the drive bay) needed, and could take, a lot of tightening. It was difficult to get the panel flush and lined up correctly on the front.
Overall Review: Kind of a pain to install, but even with cracked plastic screw holes it's holding my card reader just fine, and it looks good. So, for the price, and because I'm not likely to re-use it or mess with it any time soon, I feel I got my money's worth.
I'm in love.
Pros: ROOMY! Heavy! And well-finished, with a hundred small touches, like repositionable HDD cages, rubber grommets, access to the back of the motherboard, bottom mounting for the psu (the psu can be installed upside down if desired), easily removable dust filters, and drive trays that work with both SSDs and HDDs. Cable management was almost effortless, thanks to the intelligent routing available. This thing also does keep things quiet. The difference in noise level when I have the sides off, versus when they're on, is amazing.
Cons: It's hardly worth mentioning, but the black paint will flake off fairly easily if scraped.
Overall Review: I've just finished building my first computer (I've owned a few, but never built one before) and I consider myself very lucky to have chosen this case. It offers a great degree of customization and sophistication while remaining novice-friendly.
Pretty Good
Pros: It keeps my cpu cool and the parts look and feel high quality. It came with everything that was needed. With a good sound dampening case on, I barely hear it at all. (My GPU is much louder).
Cons: The instructions are terrible. They're mostly pictures, contain all of three lines of English, and don't make any sense unless you already know what to do. Since this was the first time I'd installed a cpu cooler, I had to do a lot of supplementary research before I could make sense of it. Installing this thing was the most stressful and confusing part of my first build. The instructions aren't misleading, they just feel incomplete. A few more lines of explanation would have gone a long way.
Overall Review: I don't regret getting this at all, even if it isn't easy to use for novices.
Cheaply Made, But Effective
Pros: -I got this on sale for $10. Not a bad price, considering the only other pen like this I've seen sells for over twice as much. -Simple to use. Just press the button and write slowly. -Once stamped, the foil is surprisingly durable. In fact, I had to take an x-acto blade to it before it would come off. No need to worry about it flaking. -Works on a variety of surfaces. I've tried it on paper, fabric, and plastic with great results. It did not work on metal (not that I expected it to.) Supposedly it also works on leather and candles, but I haven't tried that. -Comes with a small card of punch-out templates and sheets of tracing paper. -The instructions are surprisingly helpful and thorough, include pictures, and provide guidance for varying techniques and uses.
Cons: -There is what looks like an LED light next to the power button, but it doesn't light up. A working light would have been useful, because when I work on complicated designs that require constant holding of the button, I start to become doubtful whether the button is depressed or if my finger has slipped off it. -Tacky leopard print design on the pen. -The instructions are Engrish-y, but readable.
Overall Review: I thought this would be a cheap toy to play with for a while, but the more I use it, the more I realize what it can do. I'm delighted to have this in my arsenal of craft supplies.
Cooled my overheating gpu by 40 °C
Pros: Took my 9800 GT from 100 °C while stressed down to 60 °C instantly.
Cons: Can't see any
Overall Review: I needed to use my old 9800 GT for another couple of months while I built a new computer, but it was seriously overheating. Cleaning off the old thermal paste and applying this fixed the problem. It was my first time applying a thermal compound and it was simple enough, and very effective.
