Corsair Vengeance 8GB PC3 12800

Pros: Rock solid RAM: got the first 8Gb stick as a "promotional" w/ my ASUS P8 z77-v PRO. Purchased the second 8Gb (on sale); now running, 16Gb total. My Asus Motherboard easily let me clock it to 6-6-6-17 (still @ 1.5v) no problem. I'm sure I could "tighten" it a little more but, as is: Never a single glitch, lock, re-boot due to the ram. I'm also running a CM EVO 212 CPU Cooler but, I just rotated it 90Deg so that it is facing front to back w/ a "push - pull" dual fan solution and have no problems with the height of the ram > I just "seated" the RAM before I installed the CPU & Cooler (other motherboards will have different placement for the RAM slots so, be sure to check your MoBo before you purchase).
Cons: Still, could be cheaper; I purchased the CL10 (knowing that since it was Corsair I could run it at "tighter" clocks) version and it was still almost a buck a Megabyte. The CL9 version is almost $10 more for the 8Gb model ($20 saving for me total). Save the money / buy the CL10 and clock it yourself !
Overall Review: Very happy w/ this RAM and other Corsair products (in general). Would definitely recommend this product ! Final thought: When purchasing any "Brand" be sure to purchase their "premium" products if you want it to function as a "premium" product.
Worked great but...!!!!

Pros: Worked as described; added lots of extra color and detail to my Corsair 650D. Connections, switches and installation; simple and components fit very well.
Cons: It's been just under a year since my purchase / installation and there are only two LED's still working. There are two or more that "flicker" off and on; if I'm lucky. But, that is actually a little worse then just working; makes me think something is wrong and is distracting!
Overall Review: LED's by design are supposed to last much longer then traditional light sources (and use less energy). It looks like NZXT used the "cheap" version of LED's in this instance. Final thoughts: Great concept but, very poor quality product; I hope other NZXT products don't share the same poor product longevity

Pros: Works great / when it works. Runs cool / fans are quiet and GPU Boost 2 is a great addition. Out of the box this card runs @ 1.254Ghz. Will kill any game on "max" settings with +70 (or better) FPS and never gets over 70c in temps (1900x1080). The fan sound on the card is never over 70db. I can't even hear it; yet it still keeps the Temps to a very low level.
Cons: This card has given me more problems then any other Graphics card in history: Nvidia seems to be adding a new driver every two weeks to get it sorted out!?! I'm not sure I can blame MSI or Nvidia but, I get random "lock up" in: BF3, BFBC, Cry2 & 3, Sniper Elite V2, Metro LL & 2033 (and others). The "lock ups" seem to be getting less frequent with each driver release but, still w/ the latest driver "326.80" I can only play any given game for 3 to 30 Min without a lock up!?! I pulled my 770 Lightning and installed my old MSI 660Ti OC and no problems (played games for hours) what so ever > so, it's the card and not my system. :(
Overall Review: I contacted MSI support and opened a "Technical support request" and described my problems in painful detail and all I got back was a (3) "generic" email telling me to read the manual -> REALLY? MSI support is a "joke" as far as I can tell. I would think twice or even three times before I purchased this product. I've had really good luck with prior MSI video cards / dumped my MSI 670 PE OC (which worked flawlessly) for this one but, if this is the support you get when you have an issue: I'd direct others to buy from a better (EVGA) vender for better service and support. Sigh..

Pros: Large - Clear - Very Bright (in fact so bright I'm running mine @ 40% Brightness and 50% contrast). Crisp and clean colors, colors look very natural. Darks are dark as they should be: not "Grey" as with a lot of other monitors (did someone say TN film?). No problems w/ the buttons (some report they are too sensitive).
Cons: Only one so far: some complain that the base is too flimsy. It seems to work okay for me but, the lack of "height" adjustment is a Minus 1/25 of an egg off for me. I need it to be about 5" higher to fill the space in my Desk/Wall unit. My Samsung 245t was adjustable to center right between the bottom and top of the space I was trying to cover. I'll have set it up on a block or something??? Maybe I should take one egg off for that but, I don't want to steer people away from the "Good" aspects of this monitor..!
Overall Review: I purchased this elsewhere (still love the egg!) and got a great deal on it: (just over 3bills + tax). I replaced a professional series Samsung 245T (also IPS & $600+ when purchased new) and I do notice a tiny difference between the "crispness" but, it is very slight. Watching Blu-Ray movies there is almost ZERO "motion blur" (you really have to watch for it) "bested the 245T" in this category. Gaming on this one is Excellent - You won't be disappointed ! I'm going to try a aftermarket VESA mount to see if I can get it where I want it in my Desk (though I hear the VESA screw holes are very "fragile" on this model). Thankfully it's not very heavy; I might get lucky to find an aftermarket one to position it where I want w/o any troubles? All and all couldn't be happier. It's a great Monitor minus the "Cheap" - non adjustable stand.

Pros: SSD: Cost coming down. Samsung: Controller works w/ just about anything: I've had some issues w/ controller on other drives: OCZ (updates come out slow); and Sandisk (however SanDisk was on it and had updates rather quickly). None the less: this drive truly works: "out of the box". Drive is: Stupid fast!
Cons: Cost still a little high: Purchased this one for my Notebook but tried it out in my "Game Rig" (for benchmarking > see other thoughts). I've (because I'm so impressed) ordered the 500Gb model of the same drive for my Game rig. Might; no, would buy a second 1Gb model when they come out w/ it: wish they had a 2GbModel!?!
Overall Review: Just thought I'd post up some CrystalDiskMark Results (so everyone can see just how fast this disk >paired w/ the appropriate hardware< really is): ASMedia 6Gb/s (5k file read/write) READ: 500.0MB/s WRITE 257.3MB/s Intel 3Gb/s (5k file read/write) READ: 270.2MB/s WRITE: 258.0MB/s Intel 6Gb/s (results): (5k file read/write) Read: 376.2 Write: 257.8 System Specs: ASUS P8Z77-V Intel Core I-5 3570K Corsair Dominator 16GB 1600Mhz Samsung SSD 840 (non-pro) series 250Gb Corsair AX860i PSU (everything running @ stock settings)
A new Hope: (older) MacBook Pro

Pros: SanDisk released a new firmware update to address this issue for older MacBook Pro. My MB Pro now shows the "negociated speed" as SATA II ie; 300Mbps Here is the link: http://forums.sandisk.com/t5/SanDisk-Extreme-SSD/SanDisk-Extreme-SSD-Firmware-R211m-download-for-for-MacBook-and/td-p/285948
Cons: Now running @ SATA II specs; I'm (using black magic) still not quite getting the same speeds as I did w/ a "pc" based Dell M4400 (also SATA II). Runs very fast none the less / Very happy!!!
Overall Review: Can I give SanDisk an extra 1/2 egg for continuing to support older hardware (ie; my mid-2009 MB Pro)? Most companies just turn their backs on older hardware support. My hat off to SanDisk for addressing this issue! :)
