Definitive Technology SuperTower Floor-standing Speaker Single
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: These sound nearly as good as the 8080 ST deftech offers.

I was looking around for something for a spare tv room (leading to my deck). This set makes me wish I just bought 8060's for my theater room also!

The 8080's are the best I have heard. For a much better price than comparable Bang & Olufson, B&W, etc.

So by saying these 8060's are almost as good as them 8080's, is like saying the 8060's are as good as the best around!

Extremely loud and harsh when wanted, subtle and warm when needed! Bass is deep, and requires no external woofer to sound like you are at a real concert, or on the beaches of Normandy. This speaker has got you covered.

Easy hookup as well. Just needed a power cord (standard pc power cord) to drive the internal bass amp. Some speaker wire to connect to my receiver. Then a final low frequency (composite) cord for the bass.

Cons: None. I do however feel that this will be hard to beat. The con here is, that other companies and deftech them self will need to do something very drastic to outdo the price to performance of these speakers.

Other Thoughts: Match two of these 8060 ST's with 4 8080 BP surround speakers, and a 8060 center from deftech. It sounds fantastic that way! Even on my older Pioneer VSX 921.

Intel 112BN.HMWG WiFi Link 1000 Wireless Network Adapter IEEE 802.11n (draft) Mini PCI Express Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Good size, works as stated. Very simple and quality build.

Cons: Worked fine in windows for weeks. The first time I turned on Linux the card refused to work ever again, even in other motherboards.

I knew I should of never used Linux, only hipsters and children use it or "need" it.

Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Game of the Year Edition PlayStation 3
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

2 out of 5 eggs compared to 360 12/14/2009

This review is from: Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Game of the Year Edition PlayStation 3

Pros: This game is pure rpg gold. I must admit that the 3rd ES was a lot more rpg like than this game. But this game is an rpg for the masses. Can be harder by raising difficulty and easily can spend 100+ hours looking for every single ruin and tavern.

Cons: It is on the ps3 and thus it lags a whole lot. This was a game that has multiple problems with lag and glitches that are irreversible unlike its console competitor. I prefer pc over all three consoles but if I had to choose.... stick to the 360 for this game.

Other Thoughts: I am a lover of all three consoles and pc. But i have to speak the truth. I got this for 10$ from a friend and decided i have all the GS on 360 and beat it on pc 2 times, So lets get it for ps3. I do not regret the 10$. I just regret that the ps3 version is so bad compared to its competitor. This game came out when ps3 could not make a multi platform game that would run as good as the other consoles it was out for. So just be warned it has low fps and the pc version is only 19.99$ so save the 8$ and go for the pc version, Or the 360 version for similar price and better everything.
