Pros: I know this card is overboard, and hard to justify based on the cut back shaders with too much memory. But, the handy switch on the side unlocked the extra shaders at the first power up, and the core overclocked from 800 to 960 mhz no sweat. Darn fine card.

Overall Review: To any overclockers: don't just push the numbers higher. I know that the internet as a whole says to overclock the memory and gpu as high as they will go, but don't. First off, the card will run hotter. Second, performance won't match the scaling. There are sweet spots on cards, find and use them. Your mileage may vary, but I found the best settings through massive trial and error were 897 mhz, and 1400 mhz memory. I ran furmark, unigine, and FFIX benchmarks for a few days, carefully recording all points at each setting. After the hard approach, I calculated that the stock ratio of core to memory clocks was 16:25. Scaling the core and memory to 896:1400 preserved that same ratio. The only caveat is that it's slightly unstable at the memory clock, so I scaled it back to 1375. It's rock solid now, and the fps I am getting are awesome. Your mileage may vary, but don't just raise values on overclocks without performance testing. It DOES matter.

Overall Review: I put Noctua 80mm fans in here and blocked the 5" bays with cardboard to force more air over the motherboard. I'm running a 5950X on an X570D4U-2L2T with an IS-60 (non-RGB) cooler and so far it hasn't melted. I am considering if I'll get this chassis for the second build, or one with more fans.

Pros: Has been running non-stop almost since purchase, and uptime currently says 260 days. I added a SAS expander and put this in a Rosewill 4U chassis (RSV-L4412) and put in 8 hard drives and 4 SSDs, and use it to run ZFS. The chipset and ECC support was all I really cared about, but the board has been rock solid in every way.

Overall Review: Great board. I'm using an i3-8100 in it because I don't care much about the compute performance, but wanted the bandwidth and feature sets. No complaints from me.

Pros: KVM used to switch between various hosts in a lab, had been in production for a while with no issues.

Overall Review: IOGear KVM switch (4 port) was the best value I could find when I bought it, no regrets after more than a year.

Pros: Excellent motherboard. I purchased this as part of a deal for the G3258K processor and I couldn't be happier. At first I wanted a more enthusiast friendly chipset but then Intel forced the vendors to release updates and BIOS revisions that basically turned this motherboard into a gaming platform. It's been running the Pentium G3258K slightly overclocked for a few weeks as a home server / ESXi machine, 24/7, and I eventually took the Pentium out and put in a 4790K. The 4790K is also running 24/7 in my home server, and after a few weeks it hasn't needed a reboot or any attention at all. Bought it for a total of <$80 with the Pentium G3258K and I couldn't be happier.

Cons: No cons whatsoever. Just be aware the board is a Micro ATX motherboard, space is very limited. I eventually managed to get a Corsair H80i installed on it in budget Rosewill case, but the socket is so close to the top corner that I had to have my wife help me install it because the tubing needed to be bent so much.

Overall Review: The BIOS looks like something from an Alien movie. Full UEFI, mouse movement, high definition options, you can even customize the background. You can disable this if you want and revert to the more familiar text display that Gigabyte has been using for a while. I had initially tried using onboard graphics and the default BIOS options but the HD TV I was using wouldn't recognize the video and when it finally did it wouldn't properly show the BIOS. An actual monitor saw it all immediately, so definitely do all configurations with a monitor if you start having difficulty.

Pros: Excellent drive for value and speed. Installed to a laptop that was slow because of the rotating drive, now it boots rapidly and has slightly longer battery life. Very quick drive for pretty much everything the laptop needs, including Sims 4.

Cons: No cons. It replaced a 400GB drive so I did lose some space but it's not like I didn't know that before I bought it.
