Pros: Great price I got it on sale. Mine is very quiet and stays cool. Works good on Civ V. I have had no heat problems and I used stock heat sink, fan and the applied adhesive. The cover has been off due to me changing things around which is helping keeping it cool. I upgraded from an A6 (5700K?). My scores on PassMark Software with A6 was total 1073, 3D 337, CPU 2093. With A10 7700K total score 1895, 3D 1010 and CPU 5795.
Cons: None that I can think of.

Pros: I have used many MB over the years and MSI has never let me down. I took apart my rig and made this new one although it is not faster I wanted to try these new CPUs and a small case. Used my ram 8 gig 1600, WD hard drive with windows 7 already installed and a 500 watt ps. I bought the MSI A88XI V1, a new mitx Antec case and a AMD A 5400K cpu. These parts I bought over a year ago before putting it all together. It started up first time and every time. BEST NEWS: Windows 7 did not have to be reinstalled. The MSI disk installed all the software and drivers and MSI live update downloaded all the new stuff.
Other Thoughts: Plays older games fine even Civ 5 is OK. The 3d score from Pathmark was 647 and when I installed the GTX 650 it increased to 1853. For a 66 year old I thought I did a good job.READ FULL REVIEW
