2 Chips Good 2 Chips Bad

CORSAIR DOMINATOR 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TW3X2G2000C9DFNV
CORSAIR DOMINATOR 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TW3X2G2000C9DFNV

Pros: I have never seen Cosair Chips be defective from the factory. I bought 2 sets on two different invoices and was suprised to get oe errors on windows installation for vista 64. After a little trouble shooting I found that two of the chips were defective. Newegg setup an advanced replacement for this item. As always I only use Corsair for all my high end needs.

Cons: non so far

Line down the Right Side....

SAMSUNG SYNCMASTER P2570 Glossy Black 24.6" HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 70000:1(1000:1)
SAMSUNG SYNCMASTER P2570 Glossy Black 24.6" HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 70000:1(1000:1)

Pros: A beautiful Monitor for Picture and clearity.

Cons: The monitor with in one month started to have a vertical line through the right side. This would come and go and if you tap the monitor it would sometimes go away. The monitor has been on and used maybe 15 times before this problem. Most likely a bad connection inside.

Overall Review: Samsung RMA is the worst, for TV's they are excelent as they come to your home or business for the repair. For computer monitors there horrible. I sell alot of monitors and ususally only sell Samsung, but when I had two client monitors start to flicker and then go out this is when the RMA became a night mare. I sent the two monitors back carefully inspecting them myself and packageing them. Well, Samsung sends back two repaired monitors which worked well but were so scratched up it wasn't even funny. Try explaining that to a client. It looked like there tech department laid them flat on there face and draged them accross there work bench. Well try to tell Samsung that they sent you scratched monitors back. You will get a runaround that will drive you mad till you just give up. The client was upset and I don't blame them. Samsung hadnt repaired the orginal sent monitors but sent two other monitors back. This would have been fine if it wasn't for the careless scratches on them.

6 months of use, issues constantly

Pros: Colors look great except the HDR in which others have talked about.

Cons: Monitor sometimes shuts off and wont come back on. I have two of them, I use to think it was my system dying before I realized its the monitor . I have to unplug and replug the power cable to get it to work. This has been going on for months now. Im

Overall Review: For this kind of money I wouldnt purchase again or suggest it.

I agree

LSI MegaRAID Internal Low-Power SATA/SAS 9240-4i 6Gb/s PCI-Express 2.0 RAID Controller Card, Kit--Avago Technologies

Pros: I havn't been able to test this card on another system yet but will be on an ASUS board. It has been tested with a gigabyte 790fxa-ud5. Tech support is 24/7 which is great. The product has issues with pci-x slots dedicated for video just like another person wrote. This is confirmed.

Cons: Compatibility with motherboards

Overall Review: I cant vouch for the performance but when I have it up I will repost my results.

By far one of the worst boards

ASUS Striker II Extreme LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 790i Ultra SLI ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS Striker II Extreme LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 790i Ultra SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: This board has good over clocking abilities if you can get it stable. The board looks nice.

Cons: This boards cons over power the pros by far. First off, even if your not over clocking the board compents on the board tend to fail. I have built 5 of these and all 5 have had usb issues. Some have had lockup issues and if your water cooling watch out. USE Tye straps not the included clamps. You will have leaks if you dont. Also, be carefull the plastic reducer will break over time. I had one break out of no where after 1 month. Water everywhere. Make sure you use non conductive liquid.

Overall Review: For the aggrivation I would never buy this board again. I was one of the orginial test dummys for this board and over 5 later I can confirm your better off with a different board. For some reason ASUS likes to put out boards too soon with out proper testing and 10 bios updates later you finally only reboot once or twice per hour instead of every 15 minutes.

By Far one of the worst boards

ASUS Striker II Extreme LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 790i Ultra SLI ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS Striker II Extreme LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 790i Ultra SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Ok, so when you get a board you would figure that the auto feature would work half way decent when it comes to a non over clocked chip, well, guess what. NOT ... Prepare to set everything manual. The water cooled chipset be carefull not to use the supplied clamps. Thats a mess waiting to happen. Use tie wraps. The plastic reducer,, be carefull cause out of no where they break and leave a nice mess inside your machine. I have used 3 of these boards in 3 different machines with cosiar ram and 3 different quad core processors and lock up occur at random. Whats the pros? Well yea you can overclock nicely but being able to not lock up all the time is a challenge.

Cons: Plenty

Overall Review: ASUS always makes boards that they send out with problems and wait for the users to react before they have 5 - 6 bios updates to correct the issues. If I had to buy this board again it would never happen. I would have gone with a gigabye board. Right out of the box the board needed to be flashed imediately. You have to love tech support as they say "well did you try other chips and memory" well the answer was oviously yes.. They wanted me to RMA the board. What, do I RMA 3 boards. Are they having a bad batch that they are not telling people?
