Good Value
Pros: Just writing a first review. Clearly this is a card from the same contractor who supplies a major brand that I'm not sure if it's within Newegg's guidelines to directly name(?) Same PCB, fan, specs, etc. One can assume in good faith it's the exact same hardware, just cheaper. Preforms as you would expect for the generation. Fan is quiet enough and I haven't seen temps exceed 45*c. So far so good.
Cons: Documentation and packaging are very low effort. Wouldn't recommend for a first time system builder who may actually need a good manual.
Good!
Pros: I found this to be the best value for an Nvidia card with a combination of price, performance, and longevity- plan to use it for at least 18 months or so, but if the current (relative) stagnation of video card technology continues, I don't see why it couldn't be viable for longer. Runs well so far on a somewhat demanding setup (dual 1680x1050's, usually game + movie). Looks pretty professional, construction seems fine, and is less loud than both my 8000 series cards. Good warranty, apparently, but you have to register it in 30 days(?) I believe.
Cons: Idles at about 47 and on full load can push 60. Those numbers aren't necessarily bad compared to other current cards- infact they are probably average- it's more of a gripe about current video cards in general, I wish they could get them to run as cool as the rest of the stuff in my system (<35). It's a brick- big and heavy. My case is pretty average sized (Coolermaster Centurion) and it is nearly too big clearance wise. Had to move a hard drive down a few slots, the connectors would not have fit otherwise.
Overall Review: Some people might consider the fan loud but it is so much quieter than my 8600 and 8800.
