Awesome cooler!
Pros: Great fan bearings making fans rather quiet. Very decent heat dissapation.
Cons: Honestly, hardest part of whole computer build was installing this massive heatsink. Not necessarily a con, but anchoring the screws down was a bit tedious because of the two radiators. It definitely helps having another person there to assist.
Overall Review: Overwehlmingly pleased with results. Not to take anything away from the heatsink, but I'm sure my low cpu temps can also be attributed to the cable management within the HAF X case. Probably last case you'll ever buy!
Pros: Great cable management, Almost seems like too much room inside for all of your gear. My wife referred to it as a "monster truck" of computer cases and everyone who has seen my recent build gets one glimpse at this tower and just sits there in awe!
Cons: Even though they are there for vents, if you add filters to the intake fans, put dust filters on the pci brackets and even the exhaust fan at the back. Thankfully, I found some pci bracketed dust filters and used a pair of panty hose for a dust screen on the exhaust fan at the back.
Overall Review: Other than the one con of dust filters (minor to some, but I figure if you go part of the way, might as well go ALL the way), there was obviously some serious thought and plannning into designing this case. Great work Coolmaster!
Sweet looking, Nice utilities
Pros: Awesome looking board with TUF Armor. I know some have said it is like cheap plastic, but I'd have to disagree. No problems installing and setting up the utilities. Thermal radar is very nice and quit accurate. Accessories saved me because the board came with a cpu power cable extension which was needed b/c of short psu cable for proper cable management.
Cons: Not sure why, but after installing USB 3.0 drivers from disc on Windows 7, all of my USB ports became disabled and I had to reinstall Windows. Since then, I haven't reinstalled the drivers.
Overall Review: Since doing my first build just over 10 years ago, ASUS has always been my choice for the mobo and always will be!
Quiet, Decent Power, SHORT cables
Pros: Very quiet, hasn't gotten as hot as anticipated under load
Cons: I'd have to side with the majority of reviews that the flat cables should be tossed and braided ones used instead. Biggest con for me was the length of the cpu power cable. Granted, I have a HAF X full size tower, they could have at least made it 6-8" longer. Thankfully, my Asus board came with a cable extension.
Overall Review: I haven't had the computer up and running for an extended period of time, but I am pleased with the power this unit provides.
