Mushkin Enhanced Reactor 2.5
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: - Greatly enhanced the speed of my laptop
- Read/Writes appear to be quick (just perception, no actual tests performed)
- Quiet
- Less heat in my laptop

Cons: - None

Other Thoughts: Bought this to replace the default HDD in Lenovo Y700. I've noticed a huge difference while developing, gaming, and just general usage. I haven't run any actual speed tests because honestly it's fast enough for me and I don't need the exact numbers. I've compiled C and Java code, executed PHP/Python, run full VM with LAMP stack and it all performs great. The gaming aspect also is much improved (No Man's Sky, DoA5 LR, MKX).

Rosewill RX303-PU3-35B - 2.5
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Easy to load HDD and SDD
Good data transfer speeds

Cons: - Lights are a little bright

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for an easy way to swap drives in and out, this thing works great.

Miele Twist S7210 Upright Vacuum Cleaner

2 out of 5 eggs Don't Buy 11/30/2015

This review is from: Miele Twist S7210 Upright Vacuum Cleaner

Pros: Works great the first year. Easy to move around, great sucking power.

Cons: A little after a year, the carpet beater brush started going on the fritz. It turns out that the "great" 7 year warranty is ONLY for the motor and the casing. Anything else breaks, you're out of pocket for it. Don't try calling tech support either, I spent 30 minutes on the line with them 3 different times and never actually reached a person, just got ringing and then it hung up on me.

Other Thoughts: If I knew the warranty covered so little, there is no way I would have paid this much for a vacuum (other than a Kirby maybe). If you have money to just blow, go for it. If you're looking for something long lasting or with good support, you might want to look elsewhere.
