Great buy!

Star K Large 12mm Simulated Blue Sapphire Heart Pendant with Sterling Silver Chain
Star K Large 12mm Simulated Blue Sapphire Heart Pendant with Sterling Silver Chain

Pros: I purchased this for my wife; she loves it. The pendant's attractively "over-sized" heart-shaped Blue Sappire is a real eye catcher. When my wife is wearing it, she catches people that she is talking with, almost staring at it, which most always stirrs a compliment.

Cons: My wife absolutely loves her necklace, but we both agree that the included chain may cause the likelihood of a losing the pendant- buyers should anticipate the purchase of a higher quality chain.

Overall Review: Should fill in the back side with metal and plate to match the rest of the pendent.

Most Critical Review

Big Bass- Mids & Highs "Muddy"

AERIAL7 Tank Eclipse 3.5mm/ 6.3mm Connector Over-Ear DJ Headphone
AERIAL7 Tank Eclipse 3.5mm/ 6.3mm Connector Over-Ear DJ Headphone

Pros: I'd would give the packaging, accessories and comfort an "A".

Cons: I first tried the headset with my theater receiver, hoping that I could get a simulation of a good sub-woofer. The only thing that was outstanding was the bass- and that was a bit over-bearing. The highs were not crisp, neither was the mids. The dialog is what suffered the most. Forget hearing the "ting" of a BB hitting a tin can up close. I thought I'd try the set with just music from a CD; it was the same. I thought maybe I was too used to my other set that I also got from Newegg. I put those on and I'm sorry, there is just no comparison- and the price was a lot less by far. I am going to keep them, although I don't like the muddy output. They will do in a pinch- if every headset breaks and I have no other, except these.

Overall Review: I have not run an official test on the headset with lab test equipment, but by listening and watching a wave pattern of a tune I have been listening to for years tells me that the dynamic frequency response of this headset is 20Hz - 200Hz- anything above that just drops well below average 0 db.

Might Have Gotten A Dud

IOGEAR GKM561R Black 2.4GHz Wireless HTPC Multimedia Keyboard with Laser Trackball and Scroll Wheel
IOGEAR GKM561R Black 2.4GHz Wireless HTPC Multimedia Keyboard with Laser Trackball and Scroll Wheel

Pros: Has some weight to it, doesn't feel cheap. Nice design and features. I thought I finally found a wireless keyboard with a roller-ball that I would be happy with. Easy hookup- paired up with dongle as soon as I turned on the keyboard after a re-boot with the dongle inserted. Comes with a 3-year warranty

Cons: After the first time I used it, the thrill was gone. It never worked again. I got to use it for one night. The next day, I turned on my keyboard, computer and I had no control over the trackball to move the cursor. I remembered the instructions saying that if there is a problem, push the button on the dongle and push the reset button on the keyboard. Sorry; nothing. I guess maybe the batteries went dead. Put new batteries in and went through the pairing procedure again; nothing. There is a big STOP notice that came in the box with the keyboard. It said to call tech support if there is any problems at all connecting the keyboard, so I called. I told the tech what I had done and he immediately began giving me the return procedure. I had to ask him if he was a tech because I expected at least a couple, "OK, try this . . ." from the guy. He said it sounds like you've tried everything. So that's the solution- send it back for repair or replacement.

Overall Review: I really thought I had found a nice keyboard of good quality at a fair price. It just could be that my particular keyboard was assembled by someone very tired on the third shift. I sure hope so.

Maybe I need to take lessons

Panasonic ES-RF31-S 4-Blade Wet/Dry Shaver with Nanotech Blades and Arc Foil
Panasonic ES-RF31-S 4-Blade Wet/Dry Shaver with Nanotech Blades and Arc Foil

Pros: Looks like a stylish shaver. Worked right away after a good charge. Accomplishing a good charge quickly is a breeze. Like the fact that it comes with a pouch.

Cons: I have shaved with a razor for years, and I really didn't mind. I liked the "close", down to the skin shave I got using a razor. Well my little trimmer broke and I was looking for a replacement and found that this shaver had one built-in, and at tbe time was being offefed at a great reduction in price, so I bought one. I just can't get the close shave I'm used to. I just don't think it's acceptable to have a sandpaper face after a "two-handed push" as hard as I could against my face.

Overall Review: If the look you are after is a stylish stubble, this is the shaver for you. It will give you that stubble look with a little effort, or even alot of effort- you'll get the same result. Not much for instructions either. There may be some kind of adjustment to get the cutters closer to the surface, but I can't figure it out.

Worked OK in Dunkin Donuts

Rosewill RNX-N1 Wireless-N 2.0 Dongle (2T2R) IEEE 802.11b/g/n USB2.0 Up to 300Mbps Data Rates/ WPA/WPA2 (AES, 64,128-WEP with shared-key authentication) Cisco CCS V1.0, V2.0 and V3.0 compliant Vista/Win7/MAC

Pros: Came with a stiff bendable USB cable that the dongle plugs into, so that the dongle can be manipulated and held in any direction. Picked up 100% signal in a public WAN. Lots of security levels.

Cons: Kind of expensive.

Overall Review: The bendable part of the included stiff extension cable is a bonus, but only about 4.5". It's usefulness would have doubled, if the length would have doubled. Using it on my tower- the dongle can't even take a little peek over top of the case.

Typical Microsoft OS

Microsoft Windows XP Home SP3 for System Builders
Microsoft Windows XP Home SP3 for System Builders

Pros: Loaded easy. Works like Microsoft intended it to work.

Cons: Annoying pop-up msgs. (automatic updates, no anti-virus) STILL too expensive for an operating system.

Overall Review: I just can't understand why: when the market has been flooded with Microsoft's OS, why doesn't the price drop dramatically. After all, the only thing you're paying for is the actual disc + distribution.
