Good fo da Money
Pros: Cheap, Glows, and has worked fine so far for me
Cons: It isn't the most stable PSU out there, I have my CPU volts set on the mobo (old ASUS P5rd1-v OCed but still good) to 1.435 but I see it occasionally flutter anywhere from 1.38 to 1.47 depending on load
Overall Review: For the money you can't expect the most high-end 550w psu but my rig isnt too extreme so it works fine, very high-end setups will probably want something better
Don't buy it
Pros: Worked for about a year
Cons: This thing crapped the bed after about a year. My system randomly freezes and BSOD on me. I have swapped out memory and vid card with known working spares I have. Reinstalled windows vanilla and it still is freezing. Ascertaining a mobo problem is not very easy but I have tried it with every hardware and software combo I can think of and eventual the system craps out on this board every time.
Overall Review: Lame
MemTest Erros
Pros: Worked great for little over a year. Got it super cheap with a ASUS mobo bundle purchase
Cons: My system started randomly crashing. Ran Memtest of bootup and it is throwing a bunch of errors
Overall Review: for the $40 or whatever I ended up getting it for a year is not terrible but should have been better
Not too shabby
Pros: Has worked for over a year with minimal problems.....powered my system with a 6800gt for almost a year (which requires a min. 450w supply). Have it working in a spare machine now
Cons: Chassis fan died on me about a month or two ago....I was swapping it in and out of machines so I don't know if I banged it up that way but I don't think so
Overall Review: For a 400w supply this thing powers very well and delivers stable V's. If the one fan hadn't died on me 5 stars all the way, but that may have been my fault.....
