I Play a Lot of Games

EVGA 02G-P4-2660-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
EVGA 02G-P4-2660-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: Got this card around August I believe and it's still performing well. I run 2 monitors, 1 for stuff like music, mumble, YouTube videos, steam etc. and the other for my games. It does all of this fine. I usually don't play high intensity game like BF4 but it usually handles them on high settings pretty well. If you wanna record it's no problem because of GeForce's incredible ShadowPlay technology, which as of recently, supports Windowed mode. Record anything you want with basically no lag at all. If you're stuck between nVidia and AMD I would go with nVidia for their software.

Cons: It's a little louder than I'd like and some times my screen will flicker but that could be caused by problems other than the card or even because of faulty drivers. Not gonna take an egg off for that. It won't take everything you throw at it but it wasn't meant for that. It's a good budget card.

Overall Review: Recommend it

Quality Product, Software Options Are Terrible

Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930 with 7.1 Surround Sound, Wireless Headphones with Microphone
Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930 with 7.1 Surround Sound, Wireless Headphones with Microphone

Pros: At first I thought the 7.1 audio wasn't good and even gave me inaccurate indications as to where my opponents were but after getting used to the headset prior to using a Razer Kraken with Surround I guess it just took some time for my brain to adjust. In terms of hardware the headset is nice. Comfortable, on a full charge lasts me more than enough, can go downstairs while listening to music or my friends and only go out of range in a few spots, and the mic is 'decent'. The mic isn't bad but this is a high quality headset after all. Using two of the buttons I can skip to the next song and pause instead of having to use my keyboard.

Cons: Logitech I'm so disappointed in your inability to read or address issues that seem to have been known for quite some time. As a newer customer of yours I was looking forward to putting this headset to the test but it just gave me so many issues. I almost immidiately trashed them due to the fact the sound would not stop switching back and forth between, what I'm assuming from the posts I read, 7.1 and mono. Any time someone spoke my music and ingame sound would lower or raise and everything would shift around and it was so frustrating, giving me a headache in no time at all. First search on google revealed a large amount of people complaining about this very thing. The only fix? An older driver. Yep, fixed the problem! But now with this old even worse godawful software I can no longer map buttons the way I could before. The dream of watching movies from my bed with friends and talking to them using push-to-talk on the headset is gone. The older software has an option for ventrilo but not mumble, probably because of how old it is. The headset will randomly disconnect when I'm not even far away from it. It happens rarely but still an issue.

Overall Review: Don't get me wrong, the headset is amazing, but this blatant disregard for such a simple problem, one which many MANY people have complained about, is what makes me skeptical towards buying another Logitech product. The company itself may have some care for the customer but whoever is in charge of their drivers and software just needs to be fired immediately, especially since this is one of their newer products and you'd think the'd be keeping careful watch on how it does.

They're OK

Razer Kraken 7.1 Surround Sound USB Over Ear Gaming Headset
Razer Kraken 7.1 Surround Sound USB Over Ear Gaming Headset

Pros: I've owned these things for 2 years and they haven't crapped out yet. Listening to music is fine and I can decently hear where people are in game thanks to the help of Razer's 3D audio software.

Cons: I HAD to buy a separate $15 microphone for these because of the sound quality. For the first year they were very uncomfortable (maybe they shaped my head). After about 5 hours of use they start to hurt. To be honest there are headsets with better sound quality and comfort out there for lower the price. I don't suggest.

Overall Review: A month back they started buzzing and I thought they were breaking but it turned out to be my motherboard's audio jacks.

Good Keyboard

Corsair Vengeance K70 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Red LED - Cherry MX Red Switches
Corsair Vengeance K70 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Red LED - Cherry MX Red Switches

Pros: I can't take anything away from this keyboard because the only reason I stopped using it was because of preference. It was durable and did everything it was supposed to. I'm just not an MXRed type of guy I suppose.

Cons: It got a little gross but then again so do my current keyboard and mouse that I constantly have to clean off. Maybe I have a skin condition.

Overall Review: Maybe I'll try a K70 with MXBlues

Acer S22 vs. G22

Acer 21.5" 60 Hz TN FHD LCD Monitor 5 ms 1920 x 1080 D-Sub, DVI S0 Series S220HQL ET.WS0HP.A01
Acer 21.5" 60 Hz TN FHD LCD Monitor 5 ms 1920 x 1080 D-Sub, DVI S0 Series S220HQL ET.WS0HP.A01

Pros: It's a good monitor? It works, it's sturdy, the image quality isn't too bad, and I got it for $120.

Cons: I purchased this as a second monitor to go with my G22 that I already had. Once I learned how to click it in properly I realized that the screen looked pretty pixelated and somewhat washed out. I managed to fix the washed out look somewhat but the screen still managed to look somewhat more pixelated than it's almost identical brother G22.

Overall Review: I use this monitor as my main screen for gaming and to be honest it just looks like a good screen from afar. I'd recommend it if you're not going to be gaming up close.
