Works great
Pros: Does what it is supposed to do and at a low cost.
Cons: None
Overall Review: My laptop front would get very hot and this notebook cooler keeps in running cooler. Before it was hot to the touch, now it's just slightly warm.
nice board but ...
Pros: Very nice layout, easy install, up to 16GB memory! Running with AMD 6000+, very fast
Cons: no digital audio input for CD drive, dual memory wouldn't work in first two slots, had to put them in second two slots to boot, updated BIOS, still same problem, found out that my board is a rev. 1 board, which is lame because rev. 3 is already out. NewEgg should have sent the latest version.
Overall Review: Will return and try again with this board and if it turns out well I'll give it a 5
Heavy Duty, Great Value, Would buy again
Pros: - Sturdy steel - Easy assembly - 3 joints in each arm for horizontal adjusting (plus one for monitor tilt) - 2 ways to attach to desk (clamp or thru desk hole)
Cons: - Minimal height adjustment
Overall Review: As some reviewers have stated, this monitor desk mount has no height adjustment. While that is technically true (the pole doesn't have any way to raise or lower), you can "hack" it by making the clamp the largest size, then put in a shim on top of your desk and you'll get a few more inches. This is precisely what I had to do to get my two Asus 23" monitors just above my Lenovo W540 laptop screen, and it works beautifully. I just painted the 2x4 shim (1.5" actual height) matte black and you barely notice it's there. To give you an idea, from my desk to the bottom of my 23" monitor is 11.5 inches. And since the price was less than half of other dual monitor mounts I was looking at, I am extremely happy with my purchase. I would highly recommend this if you don't need monitors too high in the sky.
Exceeds expectations
Pros: Reliability, Storage size, and RPM speed
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: I've been using this for almost a year now without any issues. I got this drive because my laptop only had a piddly 160GB drive, which is laughable nowadays. I really wanted a 1TB 7200RPM drive but could not find one reasonably priced at the time. So I went for this 750GB one and I couldn't be happier. It was easy to install and worked great (but I had to use Acronis Disk Image to make sure all existing partitions were copied, such as the hidden backup one).
Good if you have a surgeon's hand
Pros: Very, very easy to use. If camcorder is steady and your subject isn't moving, this takes great video. Good for small (screen area size, not file size, meaning not HD) web videos.
Cons: Very poor low light performance (especially compared to my Panasonic miniDV) and basically this should only be used outdoors and maybe inside with lots of natural sunlight through a window. Does not have image stabilization which is a must if you plan on recording while walking (or even moving). Your hand must be so steady in order not to see frames jumping. Also, there is noticeable blur when your subject is moving or even worse if you are moving the camera AND your subject is moving. This reduces it's use to very specific situations which at the moment I'm hard pressed to find.
Overall Review: I bought this as a travel camcorder for quick, spur of the moment video. My intention was to eventually replace my miniDV camcorder with a smaller version, such as this, but these little guys just aren't there yet. Image stabilization is necessary and I would pay more for a compact camcorder that had one. If you only plan to use this for lame Facebook and YouTube uploads then you've found your camera. If you plan to archive your videos and use them for home movies, I urge your to look elsewhere. Despite this, I believe Cisco is on the right track with Flip, and if they just add IS and more bells and whistles, I would even consider buying a better model, if they are going to make one.
Superb LCD TV for HD
Pros: Excellent HD quality, 120Hz, price, 4 HDMI inputs, DVD quality is excellent
Cons: Just Ok Standard Cable quality, but if you are buying this TV you should have or get HD. Also, as most others have said, the sound isn't great, but really ... I mean, most will be running this through real speakers, right?
Overall Review: It took a couple of days to tweak the settings until I finally settled on one for each input. I'm not a huge football fan but watching it in HD is just mesmerizing, I can't NOT watch it!!! Video games are awesome and I just purchased a blu-ray player so that should be amazing as well. Do not worry about the ToC (the slightly red band around the edges), you can't even see it in a dark room and I have to squint to see it in a light room, it is just not an issue.
