Great consumer desktop
Pros: Enough power for most needs. Runs Windows 7 without a hitch. Small enough to fit in carry-on luggage or a purse for portability. Nearly silent. Installation of RAM and SSD was easy. As long as you're not gaming, the integrated graphics are probably good enough.
Cons: Only 3 USB ports (2x USB2 + 1xUSB3) means you'll probably need a USB hub, particularly since it only fits an SSD internally which means you're going to want an external drive for more serious storage needs. WiFi adapter is not built in (although there is an antenna which can be attached to an internal PCIe adaptor) so if that's important to you, you'll need to get that separately. Very surprised to find out it doesn't come with a power cord to go from the brick to the wall. Something like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812196313 will do the trick but you need to remember to order it.
Overall Review: Once you put the whole thing together it's a bit on the expensive side for a low-power system. If you don't need the portability there are cheaper solutions out there.
Don't bother
Pros: 64 bit. Good for webservers and some very specialised applications (like video editing applications, if they were designed specifically for 64 bit windows). Install is less oriented to consumers than regular XP pro.
Cons: Terrible driver support. Many older applications refuse to install because they think it isn't windows XP. Even things like certain browser plug-ins, which have no right to care what bitness you are using. Some dumber applications which do install (especially games) tend to use twice as much ram as they would under 32-bit windows for reasons I can't comprehend.
Overall Review: Unless you plan on using this for a webserver (in which case you'd probably be better off with 2k3), I'd stick to 32-bit windows. I removed it from my Athlon64 system and 'downgraded' to regular XP pro (thankfully both were on site licence).
Works quietly
Pros: Delivers the power, efficiently, quietly, and relatively inexpensively.
Cons: Might be nice to have a modular cable out system.
Overall Review: Using a 120mm fan on the bottom of the PSU means you hear almost nothing outside the case.
Good keyboard
Pros: Reliable, reasonable action, cheap.
Cons: Not mechanical switches like you get with the expensive keyboards.
Overall Review: I use this keyboard at work. I type a lot (software, documentation, and so on). I've spilled lunch and drinks on it, it keeps on going.
Very nice compact
Pros: Waterproof, fast startup time, well-designed interface, good image quality.
Cons: Short battery life. No extra-fine jpeg mode (though this is not so important with 12MP).
Overall Review: I bought this camera before a trip to Fiji snorkeling. The waterproofing works very well as long as you follow the instructions correctly (I didn't the first time I went into the pool, and got a little water in it, but it survived). It's also convenient for skiing or other active sports where you want something that can take some abuse. My only complaint is the battery life, which for my use is about a day and a half worth of active shooting (around 100 shots).
Very nice
Pros: All steal case, rubber pads holding hard drives (protects them and cuts noise), 120mm fan, metal rails for CD drives. Hard drive mount unlatches for easy install. Easy to use, excelent ventalation. removable washable front air filter.
Cons: Side air duct doesn't match up with CPU on my Asus A8N-E board. Would be nice if you could remove the optical drives without taking the whole front pannel off. Also would be nice if front door could hinge a full 270 degrees to be open and out of the way at the same time.
Overall Review: There are no front audio or firewire ports. Since I have no firewire (and it's becoming obsolete anyway) my sound card lacks internal connectors, this is a plus. I have now built two systems with this case (the first was with an earlier model - they've made minor improvements since then). It's wonderful to work with. Strongly recommended.
