Best Shaver!
Pros: Works as advertised. Really close shave.
Cons: A bit noisy but not anoyingly noisy.
Overall Review: If you're planning on shaving your head with this make sure that you have a separate razor to shave some parts that the Panasonic misses. I did find some burning and irritation, but I think that was due to me not being careful and pressing too hard against my skin. This is my first electric razor so I just have to get use to it.
Fantastic Sound Card!
Pros: This sound card is a great mid-range choice! I'm hearing things in games and movies that I've never heard before. The clarify of the sound is great for the price.
Cons: The only con that I have is not really a con but more of a personal taste. The LED is very bright. I, personally, don't like my computer to have it's own light show. But I'm willing overlook that part since it gives great pleasure to the ears.
Overall Review: A bit of advise for those who are using mid to high end headphones. Start by turning off all the Creative SBX Pro Studio features and turn them on one by one to test if it actually makes a difference. I found with my Beyer Dynamic DT 770 pro 250 OHMS the Smart Volume, Bass, and Dialog Plus actually made the sound worse. The Crystalizer and Surround did enhance my music, game and movie experience but I lowered both of them to 25%. I, personally, found that to be a happy medium. For music, I found that disabling everything but 25% Crystalizer made for amazing sound quality. This is just my two cents. I'm by no means an audio expert.
Works Like A Charm!
Pros: Lots of room for future upgrades. UEFI Bios is great! [See Other Thoughts]
Cons: [See Other Thoughts]
Overall Review: My first board did not post at all. Talked to Asus Support and the new board arrived the following week. This one works like a champ! I upgraded from the Asus Maximus IV Gene-Z due to things getting to cramped up. (GPU + Network Card + Sound Card). Couldn't be happier!
Great Cooler But at a Cost
Pros: Temperatures have dropped 4-5 degrees Celsius. I've done a couple of 10 mins torture tests using Prime95. According to AI Suite II's temperature monitor my CPU doesn't go higher than 52 degrees Celsius.
Cons: This heat sink is wider than a Hyper 212 Evo which means that I've lost a RAM slot. For those using a Maximus IV Gene-Z you will loose a RAM slot if you get this heat sink. It's not a big deal for me, but if you like to use all 4 RAM slots then you better look at a different cooler.
Overall Review: This is a very well built heat sink. I do not know how loud the stock fans are as I'm using a couple of Noctua NF-P12's. Really like the front Corsair plate. It definitely looks better than my old Hyper 212 Evo.
Pros: Great GPU! Runs everything at max with no issues. Idles at about 35-37C. 67-70C at load. Also it's very quiet. My Hyper 212 EVO was louder than this.
Cons: This card was a bit heavier than I thought. Doesn't sag so it's not really a problem.
Overall Review: It runs everything great except for Crysis. For some stupid reason the FPS capps at 30. But that's not the GPU's fault. Not worth taking an egg for that.
FAST!
Pros: FAST! I'm using this as with the Intel Smart Response Technology and it's definitely a great SSD.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I was thinking of having this as a boot drive but decided to give SRT a try. So far, I'm very happy I did.
