If It Matters...

EVGA GTX 750 Ti Backplate Model 100-BP-3751-B9
EVGA GTX 750 Ti Backplate Model 100-BP-3751-B9

Pros: It is a nice plate that makes the graphics card look much nicer. It is a plus with most cases coming with various windowed or vented panels to give you a view of it and a lot of your other parts. It has a great feel to it.

Cons: It did not come with the screws necessary for me to install it, so I never installed it.

Overall Review: I ended up getting another graphics card anyways so this is a moot point. But it was a fairly big let down that the screws weren't there.

A Good Rig, But Not Great

Rosewill ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case, Latching Tool-less Design of Drive Bays, Support up to 5 Fans - CHALLENGER S
Rosewill ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case, Latching Tool-less Design of Drive Bays, Support up to 5 Fans - CHALLENGER S

Pros: -A great sized case. Very spacious and I appreciate the built-in capability for cable management. -Two trays for SSDs is a bonus -Great ventilation. Allows for a lot of air intake and exhaust. -Quality of case feels great/sturdy -Built-in fans aren't loud!

Cons: -Thumb screws for side panels feel too stiff. Overall, thumb screws, for me, did not go in or out smoothly with me twisting with my fingers. They are large and easy to get a grip of, but just wouldn't twist well at all.

Overall Review: It isn't a windowed case, but that's obvious. If you want that, look elsewhere. But it is vented enough on the side you can see some colors if LEDs are used. Overall, a great case minus the thumb screws being problematic for me. I am able to screw and unscrew it, and maybe I'm being nit picky, but when I think of a thumb screw, I expect that I can use my fingers to screw or unscrew it. That's my only con. Otherwise good case for what I was looking for cost wise. I personally am not the best cable management person, so I rather not see my ugly mess. I see the blue hue from the front fans and that's great/fine by me. I would recommend for most if you don't NEED a windowed panel. I did consider the bequiet! case for the quiet factor, but the fans on this case aren't loud at all.

Gets The Job Done

D-Link DWA-582 AC1200 Wi-Fi PCI Express Adapter
D-Link DWA-582 AC1200 Wi-Fi PCI Express Adapter

Pros: This was a last minute purchase. The rig I was building had no built in wifi connectivity or bluetooth connectivity, but thought it would be nice to finally build a rig that had it. I've heard good things about D-Link, so I went with this. I don't use it to connect via wifi. I plug in via ethernet for better speeds. However, having it as an option is nice, plus the amount of bluetooth peripherals I have is through the roof.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: It is a good option for those looking to have Wifi on their rig but don't have any other means internally to fulfill that itch. Bluetooth is great. I would recommend for anyone who needs a solution to a similar predicament.

Ole Faithful

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler, 4 CDC Heatpipes, 120mm PWM Fan, Aluminum Fins for AMD Ryzen/Intel LGA1200/1151
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler, 4 CDC Heatpipes, 120mm PWM Fan, Aluminum Fins for AMD Ryzen/Intel LGA1200/1151

Pros: The main reason I bought it was because of the number of positive reviews. The cooler from bequiet! was tempting. But, I won't be overclocking my CPU so no necessity really. I wouldn't benefit from the quietness of bequiet! except in the higher range, would be necessary when overclocking. This will keep my CPU cool and run quiet. It gets the job done.

Cons: None. For those familiar with aftermarket coolers, you should know to measure your case to make sure it fits as it does sit tall off the motherboard. That's not a complaint as it is just a warning. I always make sure to buy a case that fits most aftermarket coolers

Overall Review: For those not overclocking their system but wanting a quiet solution, this is for you. However, if you are going to overclock your CPU, get the bequiet! as it will run quieter on the higher settings (assuming quietness is a concern/bonus). If you don't care about loud or quiet, than this is a tried and tested product.

Great Bang For Your Buck

SAPPHIRE NITRO Radeon R9 380 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Dual-X OC Version w/ backplate (UEFI) Video Card 100384NT4GOC-2L
SAPPHIRE NITRO Radeon R9 380 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Dual-X OC Version w/ backplate (UEFI) Video Card 100384NT4GOC-2L

Pros: I was building my rig and wanted to a graphics card that would run video games on the highest of settings. But like many, I don't have $300+ burning a hole in my pocket. Sure, I'd like to buy the best card out there, but that's not realistic. Runs like a charm. Quiet too. I have also been partial to AMD software for tweaking how the GPU operates. Structurally it is very firm so I don't think (but can't say definitively), that it won't sag. It just fits firm in my case and I love that. I had that concern with other similarly sized cards in the past, and it was a reality.

Cons: Personally, none, outside of I'd like an additional HDMI port. I'm archaic and haven't invested in display port cables/adapters. But really does not matter whatsoever. I have my two monitors plugged in and everything is nice so I can't complain. I'm also consolidating to one monitor eventually so this will be a non-factor eventually.

Overall Review: 1) Make sure you have enough power from your PSU to run this and everything else in your rig. I had no problems, but it is something to note for those new to upgrading parts in their machine. 2) Make sure to measure your rig so it fits. It is a sizable card. Not huge, but large. Most people with a DIY rig should have a case that can fit it, but the size of it, plus cable management will factor into if it "fits". Overall. Great graphics card. Definitely recommend.
