The silence is deafening!

Cougar Turbine CF-T12S4 Case Fan
Cougar Turbine CF-T12S4 Case Fan

Pros: While others claim to be quiet or silent & post crazy false decibel levels, this fan is extremely quiet! No speed controller is necessary and they move a ton of air.

Cons: none

Overall Review: I bought a 4-pack & installed as intake fans behind Masscool fan filters on the side panels of 4 mid-high performance PCs. All internal fans are exhausting air. I had been using CM & Rosewell fans prior to these & had to use speed controllers or MOBO control to slow them down cuz the noise was incredible. These fans are a delight & I highly recommend!!! Without the filters I can't hear them period - with the filters in-place I can JUST hear slight air movement. I will buy these again & again!

Quiet???

Rosewill RFX-120 - 120mm Computer Case Cooling Fan - Black Frame with Red Fan Blades, 2-Ball Bearing, Silent, 2-Speed with PWM Control
Rosewill RFX-120 - 120mm Computer Case Cooling Fan - Black Frame with Red Fan Blades, 2-Ball Bearing, Silent, 2-Speed with PWM Control

Pros: An awesome deal on sale for $4.99 each - controller, grill & fan! Seem to move lots of air.

Cons: Wayyy loud. I bought 3 sets just to get the speed controllers and then 1 of 3 controllers turned out DOA - not worth the hassle or cost of returning...besides that, after 1 of 3 controllers DOA & hearing these fans I'll never order them again. If you have to crank 'em down to live with 'em then buy slower, quieter fans - I'm not really sure what you could use a fan like this at full speed for...

Overall Review: Perhaps my definition of "quiet" is different than other folks. In fairness, Newegg doesn't advertise them as being quiet...I got that from the reviews, but the reviewers are wrong. Even with the fan controller turned all the way down these fans let you know they're working - and shipped with a dead controller thus direct power they're just overwhelming. They do move air, but I don't wanna wear earplugs when putering.

19 dBA? In the box maybe!

Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators
Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Surely do move a lot of air.

Cons: LOUD!!! and not very inexpensive.

Overall Review: I bought 4 of these based on Newegg's specs & listed dBA, plus Maascool foam fan filters...all arrived today - one filtered intake fan for each of my desktops mainly to keep the doggie & kitty hair outta the cases & work in conjunction with lesser exhaust fans. Spent the past few days cutting proper holes in each of the side panels in preparation. WOW, there's no way I could have all 4 PC's running in the same house, unless we all had earplugs in. Howling LOUD! Gonna do some experimenting to see if I can quiet 'em down a little - wish all my motherboards had sys-fan speed controls, but alas, they don't.

CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-650TX 650 W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply & New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready
CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-650TX 650 W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply & New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Nice PSU. Does it's job very quietly and haven't noticed any problems.

Cons: Still fairly expensive and I still hate rebates...wish items would just be on sale instead.

Overall Review: Talitha at Corsair Rebate Customer Service reviewed my emailed request (on the rebate site) and altho my submission was postmarked one day late she authorized payment anyway - so I'm a much happier guy today! $20 is $20...and had it not been for the rebate offer I probably would have chosen a different, less expensive brand in the first place. I'm not "cheap" and never buy bottom of the barrel stuff, but I certainly do enjoy a good deal.

works great!

LOGISYS Computer AC2200 92mm Hydro CPU Cooler
LOGISYS Computer AC2200 92mm Hydro CPU Cooler

Pros: Inexpensive solution, easy install, very quiet, cools very well...NICE!

Cons: none

Overall Review: Before investing in a "complete" upgrade on my good ole bulletproof Compaq Presario - dual booting WinXP & Win7 64-bit - I thought I'd see what gains could be made by swapping from 59 watt Sempron 3400+ CPU to 89 watt Athlon 64 X2 4200+...so I invested $28 on "that auction site" for a used 4200+ and $18 (w/quick-ship) here for this cooler. CPU temp hasn't been above 90 F since swap & processor rating in Windows Experience Index went from 3.9 to 4.9 - not bad for $46 investment. Fan runs slow & very quiet, so I'm a happy guy! Doing a complete home-rebuild with a new 95 watt AMD CPU on a different PC & gonna get another one of these if I'm not thrilled with the stock cooler.

I have two!

Kensington Pro Fit Mid-Size Mouse K72424AM Emerald Green 1 x Wheel USB RF Wireless Optical Mouse
Kensington Pro Fit Mid-Size Mouse K72424AM Emerald Green 1 x Wheel USB RF Wireless Optical Mouse

Pros: Nice size, even for large hands * great comfortable contour * nice side soft grips * love the extra buttons, they're right where they should be.

Cons: absolutely none

Overall Review: I've had oodles of wired & wireless "mice" over the years and there's always something I didn't like about each one...except for these!
