Pros: Clearly well-built
Key illumination seems okay
Cons: Manufacturers website is the very definition of useless, I have yet to have a single page load without the need to refresh several times (imagine what filling out a support ticket feels like).
When website does work, navigating is hazardous as the page you attempt to load simply never will; same goes for downloads.
Other Thoughts: No software, the included manual is rather brief.
Packaging of product is lackluster for something that is $100+
Overpriced, albeit well-made; plastic/metal slab with lights.
Manufacturer responded to original review, have claimed a update to improve the UI in their software is coming in Sept. If the software becomes easy to use/understand I would gladly rate this 5-eggs.
Pros: Fast, easily made faster without any additional voltage (see other thoughts).
Capacity is great for ~90% of tasks.
Heatsinks are thick and do their job well.
Cons: I couldn't afford the higher speed DDR3 2400 at the time, now the difference is ~$12.
Heatsinks are tall, may interfere with some aftermarket air-coolers.
Other Thoughts: Rated XMP speeds are DDR3-2133 CL11-12-12-30 @1.6V
These modules will easily run at 2133 CL10-11-10-27 without any additional voltage, adding even more value.
This review is from: SEGA Classic Game Console
Pros: Does what it says on the box.
Cons: Controllers are tiny and clearly built by the lowest bidder; they run on 3 AAA batteries (which of course are not included).
The entire package; cables/console/cartridge are very cheaply made and feel like fragile toys when holding them.
The graphics are not even up to the same standards as a genuine Sega Genesis. A simple side-by-side comparison proved this hands down.
I would never purchase this again. I shouldn't have purchased it in the first place, shame on me.
Other Thoughts: The box it was in actually had a price tag on it; for $39.95. Meaning I paid about $35 more than this thing is actually worth!
Nothing like a manufacturer showing you just how bad they are price gouging you.
Avoid like the plague! Go find yourself a genuine Sega Genesis; for your own sake, please.
