Most Critical Review

Works good but design could be better

Rosewill BRONZE Series, RBR1000-MS, 1000W Semi-Modular Power Supply, 80 PLUS BRONZE, Blue LED Dual-Ball-Bearing Fan, ATX 12V v2.3 / EPS 12V, SLI & CrossFire Ready, Black
Rosewill BRONZE Series, RBR1000-MS, 1000W Semi-Modular Power Supply, 80 PLUS BRONZE, Blue LED Dual-Ball-Bearing Fan, ATX 12V v2.3 / EPS 12V, SLI & CrossFire Ready, Black

Pros: The power supply works as intended, lots of juice and has lasted me four years.

Cons: I would prefer if all cables were modular and the screen infront of the intake fan was finer. For the cables roughly half of them are modular, there were a few I didn't need and couldn't remove so I just hid them within the case. Finally the ultimate reason why I only gave it three stars is because of the screen on the intake fan. Four years ago my case arrived covered in green peanut foam, I cleaned all but about four tiny pieces out (only left in because I couldn't get them out). Time passed and everything was fine, then I moved. During the move the tiny foam somehow migrated to inside the power supply. Get to my new house, plug it in, and poof fried PC.

Overall Review: I just ordered a replacement. Upon arrival I'll void the warranty by doing some surgery, namely adding a mesh screen before the intake fan.

Good for awhile

TRENDnet TEW-684UB Dual Band Wireless N900 Adapter IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n USB 2.0 Up to 900Mbps Wireless Data Rates
TRENDnet TEW-684UB Dual Band Wireless N900 Adapter IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n USB 2.0 Up to 900Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: -Fast -Easy to setup

Cons: -Has a lifespan of about a year

Overall Review: This worked very well until a few days ago when it started heating up and I'd lose connection. If it's unplugged and allowed to cool down I'll get another 1-2 minutes after plugging it back in. Strange how most stuff dies right after the warranty expires isn't it. Just glad its only $40

Function and...

Creative Inspire T6160 50 Watts 5.1 Speakers
Creative Inspire T6160 50 Watts 5.1 Speakers

Pros: They work

Cons: They barely work, specifically: I've gone through every software setting trying to find out why these barely work, its as if the master sound is at 10%. I typically have the volume up pretty high just to hear voices, room rattling sound effects are just out of the question.

Overall Review: I'll go back to my six year old 2.0 speakers, try to sell these on one of those auction sites or something.

Worthless OS

Microsoft Windows XP Professional X64 Edition With Multilingual Single Pack
Microsoft Windows XP Professional X64 Edition With Multilingual Single Pack

Pros: Can't think of one

Cons: It's meant to run as XP but this version isn't supported by much of anything. Most plug and play hardware that I have won't run on it. Most drivers for hardware that I have are supported by this version. I can't network into my other XP computers. Not even Norton antivirus 2003 is compatible!

Overall Review: Well just bought XP pro to replace this an awful OS, so I'm down $xxx. Wish I read the reviews for this before I bought it. (there is another listing for this OS with more info) But it would have been really nice to know that there is a trial version of this OS available from Microsoft.
