Plays BF3

AMD A6-5400K - A6 Series Trinity Dual-Core 3.6 GHz Socket FM2 65W AMD Radeon HD 7540D Desktop APU (CPU + GPU) with DirectX 11 Graphic - AD540KOKHJBOX

Pros: Bought this for my girlfriend, she needed quick entry level desktop. with SSD this thing works as well as my fx 8320/7870 for booting, surfing web and word processing. I overclocked it to 4.2-4.3 for cpu and 1.05 for gpu and it plays BF3 on low at 720p, FPS don't drop below 22, usually around 35-40. I also, got some 2x4gb 1600 RAM with CAS 9, and gave the GPU 2GB.

Cons: Not a con, but since you are cheaping out on GPU, put some good ram on it, it will make huge difference for gaming. I would recommend 1866.

Overall Review: bought it on (another site) because i had a credit there, but since newegg community reviews is my go to source for knowledge I figure i would return a favor.

Solid MB, for money/performance rig

MSI 970A-G46 AM3+/AM3 AMD 970 + SB950 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
MSI 970A-G46 AM3+/AM3 AMD 970 + SB950 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: Running it with FX 8320/HD7870 + 1333 RAM CL9 Everything runs on max 30+ FPS (avg 45) but Planetside 2. PS2 will do 60 at spawn but will drop below 24 sometime in 100+ battle. I think it could be my RAM. Overclocks proper with stock cooler. get 4.2 stable on 1.425V, stays in 40's gaming BF3/PS2. Got to invest in evo 212 tho, keep it even cooler for longer life. I was iffy about buying 970 chipset, since I wanted better quality than the mainstream, but this thing hasn't limited me in anything. Stable, overclocks, easy to use, easy to update, has everything a single GPU gamer would need (maybe even dual GPU, but I wouldn't know)

Cons: all kosher, i expect 6 years of life out of it tho so i could be back

Overall Review: Don't cheap out on ram if you going to play PS2, get 1600+ with CL9-

Pros: It's a PSU. Its only job is to stay alive longer than your rig. This is one feels solid. Powers my fx 8320 and hd 7870 with no problems.

Cons: none

Impressive

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl PC Game
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl PC Game

Pros: Extremely realistic world. Amazing sound effects make you feel as you are in the Zone.

Cons: Minor bugs, which should be fixed with next patch. A bit confusing at the very begging. Story line is also confusing.

Overall Review: Nice mix of RPG and Shooter, fans of both genres can enjoy this game. A lot of side quests.
