Last Corsair PSU I buy
Pros: semi-modular (24 pin mobo power)/ CPU power cables are the only ones attached to this PSU.
Cons: Just assembled my mobo and found that the PSU is defective. I mailed in a rebate for this so I cant return it anymore. PSU tester revealed that this was a bad one. Used an EVGA PSU that I have on my Main Video editing rig and it fired right up. The 24 pin power cable is so stiff and it so difficult to put into/remove from the motherboard.
Overall Review: This is the second Corsair PSU that i return. One from my main rig and now im stuck with this one that was supposed to be for my htpc.
Phantom 530 - Red
Pros: Cool looking case but outside of that all of the bells and whistles didn't even work.
Cons: I am writing this review simply because NZXT has some of the worst customer support I have ever dealt with. My case shipped with a defective I/O light and fan speed controller. (its all basically one chip that handles the power for the fan speed and I/O light on the rear of the computer. I opened a ticket on the NZXT support site and my issue has yet to be resolved. I was told by one of the reps that they will ship me the part but that was a month ago and I haven't heard form them since. If you are looking to be backed by this products customer support in case something on your case does not work i suggest you look elsewhere. Cool master and Corsair have great cases. NZXT really needs to get better customer support. It amazes me that you are not even able to speak to a live representative considering how big their company is. No number to contact, nothing. Live chat is offline every time that i visit their website.
Overall Review: very dissatisfied with this purchase.
