Cooler Master NotePal A200 - Ultra Slim Laptop Cooling Pad with Dual 140 mm Fans and Aluminum Surface

Pros: Looks Good. Seems to make things cool

Cons: Noisy.

Overall Review: I'd been thinking about picking up a laptop cooling pad when I saw this guy pop up as a daily deal and figured I'd pull the trigger. Other than being noisy, this meets all expectations. Seems like it just wasn't quite engineered with enough of a buffer for for manufacturing sloppiness and product weight. The actual air noise is extremely reasonable. The fans themselves have a pulsing whir and vibrate like they are cheap. I put my 15" Macbook Pro on it and the whirring gets worse. Don't get me wrong; this won't be a problem for a lot of people, but the specs say: "Fan Noise: 20 - 28 dBA" I have to work in a very noise sensitive environment. I measured the generated noise at 46dBA, 57dBC. If you need something super quiet, this isn't it.
