Blazingly Fast (coming from AMD)
Pros: I upgraded from a FX6300 to this I5-6600k and overclocked to 4.3ghz with the HYPER 212 EVO. First, let me start by saying, how freaking cool this thing runs. I'm pretty sure I haven't seen it go past the 50's Celsius mark even when gaming. sometimes my old AMD overclocked ramped into the high 70's or 80's and that was a no no. Second, this 212 EVO fan is absolutely stunningly quiet! I sometimes don't know my computer is on unless I look under the desk, because even when playing games nothing seems to get pushed that hard.
Cons: This isn't a con to the processor, but when I upgraded to this, I had to also upgrade my motherboard for intel, then my ram (DDR4) for sabertooth, then my graphics card (GTX 1060) then ultimately my PSU LOL.. I built an entire new rig just to switch basically and that hurt. I wanted to spend $230 max, and I went towards $800. thanks credit card.
Overall Review: I have ALWAYS used AMD, and until I finally made the switch I didn't realize the hype that everyone says about them. This is by far a better company when it comes to processors. On a side note, BF1 under medium/high settings with my FX6300 and GTX950 was around 60fps give or take. I5-6600k with an OC AMP GTX 1060 and I get 100FPS roughly all the time on Ultra settings 1080p.. Insane how much of a difference a few bucks can make.
My 4th purchase and not like the others
Pros: LED's on these seem to last a long time, I have purchase 3 others in the past 3 years and they have not burned out or died. They look cool, have a high RPM to make sure the rig stays down in temp and when working properly are in fact quiet.
Cons: I can't rate this latest one I purchased anything higher than a 2. Not sure why they are different than my other ones, but this is the loudest fan I have ever heard and I have two PC's built with 4 of these total. I'm just going to assume I received a bad fan?
Overall Review: Like I said, I have 3 others, and they work perfectly fine. Not sure how this one ended up being so loud, and when I say loud I mean extremely loud.
Great card of course. However, won it through Newegg Shuffle they gave me a used/open box card
Cons: Won this via Newegg Shuffle and they gave me an open box/used card. Kind of doesn't make sense. Supposed to be a new card, right?
Overall Review: Card is great, obviously. However, not pleased Newegg gave me a used/open box card.
Upgrade from GTX 650
Pros: -$99.99 after a $30 mail in rebate!! -Even this low range graphics card is a vast improvement over the GTX 650. I am able to play all of my games now at or near high/ultra settings and get 60FPS. I'm on a 1080p monitor and that is enough for me to enjoy the games. -Was enjoyable to open and see how huge these cards are. -Could name everything people have mentioned below, but simply put, it does everything you need it to do for $99.99. Can't stress that amount more. -Just a big smile on my face now that I can enjoy these games more. -Will upgrade again in a year or two
Cons: Card is huge compared to my single fan 650 so I had to make a lot of adjustments (using a Rosewill Challenger Case and non modular power supply 450w). Gets a little hotter than my previous card and has a little more wattage, but that's expected.
Overall Review: Not that I can't afford a $500 card, but If you aren't needing to game at full settings on 1440p or 4k which is absurd, then you don't need anything more expensive for now. Not to mention, I have a 450w supply, an older pci 2.0 motherboard and AMD 6300 6 core chip.. Don't feel like building a whole new rig to have a better card.
Great Case!
Pros: Amazing Case -Very simple looking with a sleek design -Power Supply sits on the bottom ++ -HD Slots are easy to load and screw in -Easy taking apart the side panels -Mid Towers are by no means small, this baby is huge and I like that! -Came with all necessary screws and supplies -All parts squeezed in with ample space and lots of breathing room.
Cons: The front cover is kind of hard to take off without giving it a little muscle. I would suggest taking that off people plugging anything in to your mother board because you will rip out your wires.
Overall Review: This wasn't a big deal because it's a cheap upgrade, but the case lacks color so I added 2 - 120mm blue led fans on the side, replaced the 140mm on the top with a blue led fan and now this baby glows nice and bright the way I like it! :) No need to replace the 120 in the back since it faces away from me.
Nice monitor
Pros: Nice display Sleek Design Touch controls are nice
Cons: -HD Monitor with no HDMI cord provided? makes sense. -The Stand is kind of flimsy and feels like it's going to break at somepoint. It doesn't sit in the stand flush as well even when you try to apply some pressure. Might be just the monitor I received and nobody elses.
Overall Review: At first I didn't think the monitor would tilt up or down, but it does so that is nice.
