Pros: Looked good coming out of the box power came on

Cons: **CAUTION TO EVERYONE**... This receiver can NOT handle the signal tranfer via HDMI cable from the receiver to the speakers and tv. Customer service said i have a "weak signal strength". Uh, coming directly from a cable high def receiver/dvr???? I don't think so. After me and my friend (who is a genius at home theater setup) tooled with this item for 3 hours, we could not get barely an audio signal going from the HDMI to my $1000 polk audio speakers, and the signal transfer from HDMI to the $2000 52" Samsung 1080p LCD TV kept flickering and cutting out. In my opinion........this receiver can not handle what it claims it can. Just be very leary with this product. I see several reviewers claiming that theirs works just fine. Maybe....but, there are always lemons in every batch, AND, at Best Buy, there were about 10 of these returned for the same reason when i was shoping around for a replacement.
