Still rockin

Pros: purchased in jan of 2007, it is now march 2013. I have moved every year save one, and this monitor is still kicking.
Cons: It does have 1 red stuck pixel, sort of top/off center. I don't notice it most of the time. Probably happened about 1 year into ownership
Overall Review: If I were smart, I would have gotten two. This is an amazing Monitor, I still game with it all the time. I support my original review that I made back in 2007 about it.
finally died

Pros: Got this in March of 2008, I reviewed it shortly after with a 5 egg rating, I do not regret that rating.
Cons: 3 weeks ago I started having random BSOD, W7x64, more often under heavy ram usage. Ran Memtest86, 3 bad chips (1 good chip, which is how I am writing this). Last ran Memtext 86 about a year and a half ago, and was clear.
Overall Review: If you think about it, 5 years of near 24/7 usage is not bad, I thought it was my cpu or RAID controller, but it was the RAM. I have had three HDDs die in that time, so I am quite happy. I am trying to eek out a bit more life from my LGA775 before upgrading, this just gave me a reason to get 2x2gig chips :)
works perfectly

Pros: Several adapter tips for more than one machine
Cons: the led on the psu box is REALLY bright, I normal have it face down.
Overall Review: picked this up to power an Acer 250D that I found in the trash, and reclaimed (new hdd was all it needed). I know it is a different watt rating that the netbook is supposed to have, but it works perfectly.
Passed Memtest

Pros: Just did 26 hours on Memtest86, not one error!
Cons: none
Worked perfect for the job

Pros: Works as intended, can even run off batteries for portable LPs. Basic speed and volume controls.
Cons: LP "hangs" over the edges quite a bit. Software is buggy/poor. I recommend using something 3rd party to truly clean up the tracks and capture the audio. The manual arm movement was a bummer, there is a little lever for moving it up and down, but side to side is all by hand.
Overall Review: I purchased this to convert all my parents LP to MP3 on an iPud for Christmas. As this has to be done in real time, it took a LONG time and I listened to EVERY album. The work was worth it though. I no longer have this turntable as the rest of the family loved the idea and took it from there. If your looking for a cheap way to rip those old LPs, this is it, but if you want a quality player, look elsewhere.
2 and a half years

Pros: Great optical tracking
Cons: dead after 2 years. The surface of the mouse pad is no longer slick, it has been worn down from my years of gaming. The big issue is that the plastic top and rubberized backing have been separating for over a year now. Peeling apart like the peel and stick stamps and nothing I have done will "glue" them back together.
Overall Review: 2 years of amazing gaming control for the cost of this pad is great. I am disappointed that the separation started after about a year and a half of use. It has gotten bad enough that I will be replacing this pad within the next month. I will be buying another Xtrac though.
