Pros: The price for size was good.

Cons: There is one bright red sub pixel stuck on the right hand side. My wife can't notice it unless I point it out to her, but I find it infuriating. This is the fourth flat panel monitor (second from Planar) I've owned, and the first time I've ever had a stuck/dead pixel. The speakers are terrible, with a very tinny sound and a terrible range. To hear everything, you have to turn the volume up very high, which makes them sound worse. The picture on this monitor is good, but dim. Turning the brightness up loses too much sharpness.

Overall Review: I bought this to replace a recently deceased Samsung 2963HM. I was hoping that the increased size on this Planar monitor would help ease the sting of the lose of my beautiful Samsung, but the dead pixel, poor speakers, and inferior picture quality makes me mourn my Samsung even more. I have a PX212M from Planar that I've been using for 5+ years now that I've been extremely happy with, but that was also a very expensive monitor at the time. The PXL2760MW is clearly deficient when compared to my old Planar and to my beloved Samsung, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Pros: Great tech specs for the price.

Cons: The hard drive cable came unplugged during shipping, which was a fairly easy problem to fix. A more significant problem is the fact that the mother board does not fit properly in the case, which means that the video card cannot be secured against the back of the case. When the screw that secures the video card is tightened, the video card becomes unseated. This is a pretty crucial issue that would have easily shown up in any reasonable testing after the system was assembled.

Overall Review: I can live with the video card the way it is, as it just means that I have to be delicate when plugging/unplugging things in the back of the case. Thankfully, I was able to make the necessary diagnostics and repairs myself. However, I will not be purchasing from Cyberpower again, and I would not recommend their products to other people, especially if they don't have the ability to make minor repairs themselves.
