CORSAIR CX series CX750 750W 80 PLUS BRONZE Haswell Ready ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Cheap power supply right now for just $60 but you may pay extra because of it's price.

Cons: It only has two 6 pin connectors and many better video cards need at least the 8 pins and even then you may need both a 8 pin and a 6 pin for others.

So at best the video card will come with a converter but it will take both 6 pins to power the video card with that thus you cannot do sli with this power supply.

Other Thoughts: Move away from old style 6 pins and include the more normal 6+2 pin if you are going to advertise as sli ready.

5 out of 5 eggs Still keeping a cpu cool 02/09/2014

This review is from: SUNON KD1208PTB2 80mm Case Cooling Fan

Pros: Got this back in 2003 for a cpu fan and while it's no longer used on main computers it's still alive and working fine for when the case it's in is powered.

Cons: None

Antec 75000 80mm Case Cooling Fan
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

5 out of 5 eggs Still blowing and sucking 02/09/2014

This review is from: Antec 75000 80mm Case Cooling Fan

Pros: Going through old purchase history and I got these in 2003 in a old case yet they are still functioning enough to be useful to this day.

Cons: Old 80 mm style that has largely been replaced by 120 mm fans and a bit louder because of the smaller size.

Other Thoughts: Comparing to the new 120 mm fans more commonly used now they are louder and less airflow but if you still need this size you can't go wrong.
