Pros: Great performance without having to deal with all the multi GPU issues. Coming from a Xfire setup, the Titan offers the smoothest gameplay I've seen in years. Great looking card and the build quality is what you'd expect from a $1000 card with none of the plasticky look most of the other cards have. Thermal and acoustic performance are top notch. Whisper quiet even under full load.
Cons: Price. The most expensive card I've ever bought. Poor bundle. For that price they could have included at least a couple of good games instead of the useless voucher for F2P games. They could also had a backplate to go with it instead of the bare pcb, for both cooling and aesthetic point of view. The GPU Boost software/drivers are far from perfect and while the overclocking is pretty good (1150 Mhz on average) the software is currently not working exactly as advertised.
Overall Review: Bottom line, buy it if you can afford it and you will have the best gaming experience you can get.
Pros: Aluminum casing, well built. It's not very long so it fits well also in small cases. The led in the front are perfect, not too bright, not too dim. Overall it works as expected.
Cons: Fan is bit noisier than I expected, especially when I have 2 of them. I might have to replace them with something quieter or unplug it. Molex connector! I had to buy an adapter because I like to keep cabling in order and didn't want to run another line from my modular psu when 2 sata connectors where already available in the right position. I got 2 units, but the $10 rebate is limited to only 1 invoice or household
Overall Review: I got 2 of these to use with my 2 data drive I use in raid 1. Installation was nice and quick, perfect fit for the hd tray and the dock.
Shipping update
Pros: The package arrived yesterday, earlier than I expected (from my previous comment). Installed without problems, I just had to clear the cmos on my MB to make it work. Installed the Catalyst 10.12a and started testing. Performance is a good step up from the 5850, noise and temperature are comparable.
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: The card is massive, make sure you have the space in the case, good ventilation and a good PSU with 8 pins pcie connector. Don't even consider the 69xx cards if you are still running Windows XP.
Ordered mine, but still waiting...
Pros: Great expectations for this card.
Cons: Placed the order the minute they became available and selected the express shipping. Well it took it 2 days to go from CA to Vancouver and it will probably take another 4-5 days to get to Ottawa.
Just Great!
Pros: Hi efficiency Rock solid voltages More power you will ever need Modular 5 Years warranty VELVET BAG!!!!
Cons: A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Overall Review: After many bad experiences with Antec PSUs I tried Corsair, first with an HX520 for my HTPC then this one for my main gaming system. They both performed way above expectations and I will never buy anything else but Corsair when it comes to PSU
It just works
Pros: Cheap, stylish looking, usb, fw and esata ports.
Cons: none so far. If I want to be picky, I would say the esata cable is not included.
Overall Review: It just works. I use it with WD drives. Tried FW, USB and esata connections and they all work. Obviously esata is the fastest and that's what I'm using.
