One of a kind... In purple!
Pros: Very rich color quality! It does 1080p from DVI-d. I have it connected to a 8800GTX card and it brings out wonderful vivid textures when together at a 32" monitor. The wire has a very cool purple grid around a wire that is white underneath. Cool design!
Cons: Very stiff wire. Not much on the flexible end. Sealed for your protection (hard to open) I really don't like when anything comes in these hard to open packages... I suppose that might be a good thing for some?
Overall Review: Great for design and picture quality. It's definitely worth buying. I am very happy with the product and so should you!
A Screw Loose
Pros: It is super small, and comes in an attractive design. Premium design makes it stand out. Small foot print. Batteries are included. Smart TV control center is fully customizable. I like the fact I can change the wallpaper. Default wallpaper looks amazing. Thin power cable is easy to hide. It has a slot loader instead of a disc tray which is better in my opinion. The remote looks pretty nice.
Cons: This device is 100% plastic. Where is the HDMI cable? I shook the device, and I can hear a screw moving all over the place. Build quality seems cheap. When the little light is on, that means the device is off. To me, that is counter intuitive. The four buttons on the device itself do not light up. I thought it was suppose to light up. That was the main reason why I purchased the device. I really thought this was their top of the line product, clearly it is not. For some odd reason, the player got very hot all of a sudden.
Overall Review: Though the device may have a small footprint, there is too much plastic involved to make it an Eco-friendly product. Also, would have been nice if it came with a super thin HDMI cable. Would have been nice if Samsung made this product out of glass and metal. Or at least some biodegradable plastic made from corn or something. In the pictures, this device looks premium, like it could be the centerpiece of anyone entertainment center. A device that truly makes a statement, but with this player, you just don't get that. The concept has a lot more potential than what was put in to this finished product.
Great Quality Motherboard
Pros: The motherboard is well-built. Great thermal performance. True dual PCIe x16 slots. No compromises.
Cons: The box it comes in is a bit thin. Back side is sharp. Only 2 m.2 ports.
Overall Review: I recommend the motherboard and would totally buy it again. I don't like the fact the board does not come well protected because the box is so thin and easy to dent or rip. The back side does not contain thermal armor so if not handled properly, could scratch fingers as with most other boards. I recommend getting a GPU for the top x16 slot and PCIe Expansion Card for 4 m.2 drives in RAID-0 for the bottom. This would make the perfect board for just about any gamer when paired with the right processor.
What a looker!
Pros: Solid design, great packaging, and rock solid performance!
Cons: LOUD! With a nice design like this, I would have loved to see a matching backplate.
Overall Review: I get a smooth 60fps on every game I throw at it. They become rather loud with just a few minutes of gameplay. Gets me a bit worried about lifespan. The CrossFireX bridges came in rather poor condition but they work. Would be nice if backplates were included.
Sata 3 can't be - sata 2 can do!
Pros: Ultra thin, great design, comes with bracket, and is speedy. Reliable in SATA-2
Cons: Plastic! Unstable on SATA-3.
Overall Review: Here I went with what the best Corsair has to offer. Largest capacity at the time with the fastest read/write speeds they had to offer while being the most stable... Or so I thought. When I placed this SSD in a SATA-3 port, it can only download for a certain amount of time before vanishing from my OS. Frigg'n fast, but not for long periods of time. That means, when I try to install games that require a lot of space, the drive would simply go corrupt. However, this is a different story when I plugged this into a SATA-2 port. Constant speed, and same great capacity. However, I paid for the best, and I did not get what I paid for in the end...
Top of the line PSU
Pros: modular, flat cables, all the connections you ever need.
Cons: none. price is a bit high but you get what you pay for.
