Pros: I thought this drive was really fast compared to my former WD Caviar. Today, after using it for about a month and being very pleased, I remembered that I needed to do the Firmware update. This update is CRUCIAL. It's even faster now that I did the update. Great drive, and it will be until I have a problem with it. Awesome drive

Cons: No mounting brackets, but they aren't advertised with it, so I didn't expect any. A little velcro works wonders.

Pros: Works with all media, plays anything, lightscribe works great. Working perfectly until today. Probably going to buy another Plextor

Cons: ...just broke a cd into 1000 tiny pieces...had it for about 5 months. It ruined the drive

Pros: Fast. Worked Great.

Cons: OCT 2011 - DEC 2012 R.I.P. Worked great for a year. Several reformats. Won't boot correctly anymore. I got a great deal, on a great drive, while it worked. I'm going to buy an Intel next time. For reliability.
