For demanding coffee environments

Pros: Brews a single pot in 3 minutes. Brews pots back to back in under 15 minutes. Safe to leave water heater on 24/7 so there is no waiting in the morning for the unit to warm up. This one is replacing the 2004 model which just started leaking and was retired. That one clocked in just over 4000 pots of coffee, which is good when the unit is less than $100. This model uses the same construction so it should last another 4 or 5 years making 20 pots a week.
Cons: Even though it says "Home Coffee Brewer", this is not suitable for most people's home usage pattern. If you don't make more than 2 pots of coffee a day, you will waste power as the unit keeps the water hot between pots. If you turn off the water heater, you have to wait 15 minutes for it to heat up before you brew. The wide dispersal pattern of the spray head and flow-through design makes it difficult to make less than half a pot at a time. You will end up wasting grounds and have it stronger than normal. The design and operation is non-intuitive for anyone who is used to the drip-brew variety.
Overall Review: It's perfect for a small office or workgroup environment where you brew full pots 3 or more times a day; or for a large household of coffee aficionados. The finish on the front panel with the warmer switch is brushed metal, not plastic.
